“I was referred to Westbourne for a scar revision and a removal of a lipoma. I saw Dr Nishikawa and I can't praise him enough. He was absolutely amazing, he took great care of me and I recommend him to anyone. His secretary Anja has been so helpful and easy to contact through out my time with the centre. All the staff at Westbourne have been respectful, professional, warm and welcoming. Couldn't be happier with the results of my procedures. Thank you Dr Nishikawa and the Westbourne team for everything.”

“Having finally decided to seek treatment to alter the shape of my nose, I booked an initial consultation with Mr Nishikawa. After explaining my concerns, which essentially were very much based on my side profile, Mr Nishikawa went through my options. Throughout the whole consultation he was extremely honest about what he felt could be achieved and what couldn’t. I never felt like he tried to ‘sell’ me the surgery at any point. If anything, he told me I would be perfectly fine without any surgery. At the very end of my consultation, I remember he told me to take my time thinking about my options and to book in with other consultants to get a variety of opinions. Yet I walked out of my consultation thinking if I was to ever have a rhinoplasty then Mr Nishikawa would be the only surgeon I let near me to do that. His honesty throughout the whole consultation put me at ease. I had very limited time available to book my rhinoplasty due to other life commitments. Mr Nishikawa’s PA, Anja Smith, was fantastic. She worked around me to find theatre availability and made the whole process extremely simple. I could not recommend her enough. On the day of my surgery I was so nervous. I had never had any sort of surgery before and working in healthcare meant I was very aware of what would be happening. The whole theatre team at Westbourne were excellent and I never expected it to be as smooth sailing as it was. After my surgery, Mr Nishikawa and Anja were always on hand and fantastic throughout my whole post-op recovery period. Mr Nishikawa’s attentive nature was reassuring throughout. Not only has Mr Nishikawa changed my life so significantly with the fantastic outcome of my rhinoplasty, but he has also instilled in me what it takes to be a great clinician. Thank you for everything you have done for me, Mr Nishikawa and team. I could not recommend them enough.”

“From the initial phone call to the post operative appointment the staff at each stage were always patient, professional and friendly. The price for the blepharoplasty procedure was reasonable and two post operative appointments followed due to my slow healing at no additional cost.”

“An unforgettable and life-changing experience. Having suffered with an aesthetically unpleasant scar for over 20 years, I lost my case against the NHS for corrective surgery, and I was refused by two other surgeries being told that my scar could not be corrected, would be too difficult or too risky. I had my first consultation with Mr Nishikawa, arranged by his extremely warm and welcoming assistant Anja. My first consultation was professional, friendly and pleasant. Mr Nishikawa took the time to listen to my concerns, he studied my scar and gave me the comfort that I needed. Having researched he came back to me and we met again and decided a way forward. I chose my surgery date working with Anja on availability, and before I knew it I underwent the knife. The surgery took place at their premises in Edgbaston and I was under sedation; all of the staff were lovely and friendly / cracking jokes and made me feel at ease. Following the surgery, I could not be happier with my result, the time taken to help me and the extremely sincere care from the surgeon. I have now had my post op check up and 8 weeks on I am extremely pleased with my results and I know my surgeon is equally pleased. For background, I had a very difficult horizontal, tethered scar across my abdomen. I was aware that my scar was stuck to my rib and it caused me great confidence issues, not just with my appearance but in my approach to others around me!! Absolute 10/10 experience, I would highly recommend Mr Nishikawa and I would highly recommend this practice. Can’t thank them enough for changing my life, when it seemed everyone else refused help! Thank you to all at the Westbourne Centre”

“My elderly Mother had cataract surgery and the care shown was excellent, they put her at ease before and during the procedure. The aftercare was also excellent. On a couple of occasions I needed some advise and it was extremely easy to speak to someone out of hours. This has helped my Mum enormously as her second procedure is due and she is quite happy to have it done, no probs!! Well done and thank you Westbourne Centre.”

“I had a fat grafting procedure, to prepare for breast reconstruction, today. All done under sedation and local anaesthetic. The whole experience was faultless. I was admitted by the nurse who was also going to look after me post-operatively and greeted by other members of the team. The anaesthetist was very thorough with explaining what would happen from his side, especially, letting me know the levels of sedation I would have at different stages of the procedure. I was then seen by my surgeon, who went into all the details of the procedure, before making my skin and getting me to sign my consent form. I walked into theatre, was made very comfortable, was introduced to everyone and everything was explained before anything was done to me. From the onset of the sedation effects, until the dressings were being applied, I felt nothing. I was up and about and dressed very quickly and was on my way home in an hour of entering the recovery bay. I am taking pain relief as prescribed and am feeling very comfortable. Covid guidelines were adhered to at all times. I felt very safe and protected. I have no reservations about recommending consultations or surgery here.”

“The service that i received when i went for my operation was amazing from start to finish. The staff were very helpful, polite and made me feel at ease. I was running late for my appointment but they accommodated me for that and i really can't fault there service or thank them enough Thank you for taking care of me before my operation and after”

“I recently underwent a otoplasty operation at the Westbourne Centre with Mr Nishikawa and I could not be happier with the results or experience. Both Hiroshi and his team are professional to the utmost degree and provide a fantastic service. Every detail and worry I had pre surgery was addressed and they provide a very comfortable and friendly approach. On the day of the surgery the staff do a fantastic job of easing any nerves with friendly conversations and humour to keep the whole thing light. Even as the last surgery of the day all the staff still put in 100% effort to make sure I was completely at ease. The surgery itself was very smooth, I opted to go without general anaesthetic as I'm not a squeamish individual. It was all done within about 45 minutes and Hiroshi would always keep checking in every 5-10 minutes to make sure I wasn't in any discomfort. Post surgery I was bandaged up and the staff would come and check on me while I had 15 minutes to recover then I was escorted back to my driver. I can honestly say this is one of the best customer services I have received, and I would have absolutely no doubt in trusting the practice should I ever need to in future. I had a rather difficult situation for Mr Nishikawa to operate on and the results he has achieved are amazing, he is very talented. I would recommend anyone who is on the fence to go and meet with him or another surgeon at the practice. He was very honest about the procedure and what would be best for me, you can tell that he has your best interests at heart. Thank you to Hiroshi and everyone at the Westbourne Centre.”

“I have had my breast implants removed by Mr Nishikawa. I decided to have this done under local anaesthetic and I cannot praise him enough for his wonderful work and also to his team who made the experience far less scary than anticipated. Thanks Maggie for holding my hand. Having had it done under a LA I was up and mobile straightaway and my recovery fast. Would truly recommend. I don’t live local and my research paid off. Very happy with the result.”

“The staff were always helpful and responsive - “admin”, nurses, theatre staff, and the surgeon Mr Sai Kolli was exceptional. The 2 procedures, and the pre- and post-op appointments, were well organised. It felt very safe given it all happened when covid was still around.”

“Mr Hiroshi Nishikawa performed an upper blepharoplasty a few weeks ago. The function of my eyes impeded by enlarged upper muscles and pressure in my forehead. I'm so pleased I finally made the decision to go ahead with the procedure. I have no pressure in my forehead and my peripheral vision has returned particularly on the right side and upper. Mr Hiroshi is a quiet gentle man who listens to your concerns and fears but is also reassuring. The best outcomes for me personally are not only the difference in my eyes but Mr Hiroshi's realistic expectations when performing this type of procedure. Women want reality not a false expectation, I would recommend Mr Hiroshi every time.”
