“I have used this service some years ago. The current delivery and returns system is a brilliant improvement. This company helps you save money, save the environment and do your bit to help small local firms going with local employment. On this occasion the alternator I got had a slight problem, this was rectified without delay or quibble. Well worth using this service!”

“Ordering was easy by phone. Let down by courier taking a day longer than promised to deliver a time critical part for my car. Also got follow-up emails about the QUOTE AFTER I had ORDERED. I was kept informed about the delay.”

Follow up emails are generated by an automated system and are sometimes sent in error especially if a customer has ordered goods at a weekend, so sorry for any inconvenience that may have cased. “Goods not despatched "same day" as stated on web site. Was needed as vehicle was off the road Quality product @ excellent price Now had both alternator & starter motor for the company with no complaints of quality, only thing that let them down was delivery, eg not despatched same day of ordering”

However if it has passed the cut off time for collection by the couriers this is not always possible. “ordered an alternator for my bmw 645ci. Phone ordering was perfect, alternator arrived when the delivery company said it would! Alternator looked as if it was new and finally works 100%. price was reasonable and thank for the sweets!!!!!!!”

“Completed the on-line inquiry for a new alternator, received reply within a couple of hours, I ordered it over the phone (just to make sure E-Company was legit, you never know!!) quoting reference number, delivered next day free of charge to the garage who were carrying out the repair, Competitive pricing along with 18 months warranty, all ticker-ta-boo :-) Very efficient, would definitely use again.”

“After looking for a alternator for our obscure car, we found West Lancs Auto Electrics able to provide one. It was ordered over the phone and received the next day. Return instructions and packaging for the old unit was included, and thankfully a Hermes drop off point was only 100 yards away The only issue we had was that the although the Web site displays a list of well known top brand names, the replacement unit and packaging is unmarked, it has no label to indicate its provenance, manufacture or voltage.”
