“Considering the same workshop was taught again and again to 6 different classes, the energy levels did not disappoint! It was amazing to see the children so engaged and smiling and laughing. The man in charge of the workshop was incredible and had a way with the children! I will definitely be booking once again for next year.”

“Great sessions for all of KS2 - would have liked these to have been longer to allow children to explore the characters and language more. The pitch of the whole school performance narration was a little immature for KS2 but would have been perfect for KS1.”

“The children at Four Swannes Primary School had a great time attending the Shakespeare whole school workshop. All the children were encouraged to take part in a safe environment, which allowed them all to step out of their comfort zone and give it a go. It was a pleasure to watch them all take part.”

“What a thoroughly enjoyable and productive day our Y6s have had with Lois Mackie from West End in Schools! Every child was completely engaged and Lois had all 3 classes under her spell throughout. Each separate workshop was had a range of exciting drama techniques to explore A Midsummer Night's Dream and build up the complete play. At the start, the clever, funny way Lois retold the story at the beginning ensured that everyone had a good understanding of the characters and plot. The children were active throughout and could remember all their separate parts for the end production. We were so impressed with the final performance with all 90 pupils performing their parts to an audience of awe-struck Y5s. Lois was lovely to work with and we'd highly recommend her and the whole Shakespeare experience. Thank you so much and we'll look forward to working with you in future!”
