Generally I like Webb’s as a garden centre. There is lots of choice and things are laid out well enticing you to shop or recreate in your own homes. What I find disappointing is the restaurant coffee shop. The queue being waited to sit at a table the waiter service. It’s not needed. Let people find their own table, choose their own food and drinks. Even have shelves to clear their own tables onto a trolley. Saves time and stress. Some want a full meal meals others just want a coffee. You can segregate off meals, cakes, drinks etc. other garden centres manage it successfully. We always leave and go elsewhere for our food and drink in the area. This is my opinion.

Ordered a Little Miss Figgy fig tree. Order was quick to arrive and well packed but the plant itself was tiny! The same variety at the local garden centre was the same price and the plants looked much healthier and more vigorous - should have waited for my next visit. Always difficult to know what to expect buying based on pot size.

Ordered an outdoor Barometer only to find after a very quick delivery, that the product was not suitable for outdoor use. Not the fault of Webbs, but poor description by the manufacturer. Had to contact Webbs customer support and they were very helpful and immediately arranged for collection of the Barometer. Refund including delivery fees was arranged speedily, so absolutely no complaints regarding the service that I received. Thank you Webbs.

Very satisfied with item bought. Website easy to navigate kept up to date with item’s journey. Partly packaged in cardboard tube with end of tube damaged but item not damaged, suggest cut packaging to size.

Salvia hot lips - lovely sized plant (2 ltr pot) and extremely well packaged for delivery. No chance of the plant moving. Price £2.99 + delivery so a bargain. My only disappointment was there wasn't many leaves on it and no flowers (but I understand it was the end of the season for this plant). The salvia hot lips I have seen in my local area were still flowering. Assume this is because of the mild weather we have had this year.

Oh dear webbs. What a let down in the restaurant . Stale bread for a cheese sandwich.?? Not good enough. Got sent back promptly, and exchanged. Nine pounds for a toasted cheese sandwich? And that came with salad?,that had been left under hot lights for quite a while, and looked awful. However. Children's meals were superb. Perhaps I'll be having them next time. Better value for money.

I ordered three Helianthus Lemon Queen. The order was fulfilled promptly and the plants are extremely healthy. They were very securely anchored to a cardboard tray by adhesive tape and additional tape had been applied over the pots to prevent leakage of compost. Unfortunately the tray and its contents had been placed in the transit carton on its side causing the foliage (about 12” tall) to act as a wedge within. On delivery, two of the plants had split stems caused by the pressure of being wedged. I have applied a short length of garden cane as a “splint” to each damaged stem, and I am pleased to say that the splits have healed. The tray and the carton are clearly tailor-made for each other and I am at a loss to understand why the plants were not packed upright. I would add that the transit carton was in perfect condition on arrival, so no fault can be attached to the carrier. In the end, no lasting harm done, but a little disappointing

Part of my order was incomplete. Roses that did arrive looked healthy. Good packaging for those that arrived.
