Too early to be certain but a good start. My pond water is clearer we will see if that lasts. Appears to be a well made product. It is easier to open for cleaning than my old one which is good.

Delivery was very quick. Had a couple of minor issues, which were dealt with very quickly as well. Can't fault the quality or service. Thank you James. Will be using you again.

It did the job. Would probably be a lot easier to spread smoothly if it is warmed first.

Appreciated the suggestion from Andy Staves to put in the filtral 3000 pump and filter. It turns out that this system is all I needed for flow to waterfall and water clarity. Wish I had installed this at the start as I now have a redundant Oase Aquarius universal premium 5000, which was too powerful for my pond. I guess I’ll try and sell it as it is only 2 weeks old. It was useful to talk through issues with your advisers and everything is going well now. Thanks

Easy to order - communications were fine after a slight problem with emails - pond paint arrived as expected but we were a little surprised at the colour - we ordered "York Stone" and it's actually a pale green colour ...

Good quality product received promptly. Minor problem with 2 pin plug from the lamp which did not fit standard socket that i already had in place. However when contacting Water Garden I was advised this was the result of the manufacturers changing the design without warning and it was OK to modify the plug buy cutting off the obstructing plastic parts which does however need some care but solves problem. Would have been useful to include a note about this with product but otherwise pleased with purchase and Water Gardens response to my query.

Hi.This is my first attempt at building a pond ,so I found conversations with your advisers useful in guiding me on purchases. I have installed the pump but I am not sure at this stage that it is the most suitable for my situation. The flow over the fall with the Aquarius 5000 was much greater than I expected or wanted. I hoped the adjustable inlet flow valve would allow me to turn the flow down if needed. It was needed, but even with this adjustment it seemed too great. I spoke again about this and use of a "y splitter distributor" which I then purchased from you. I now have the relaxing flow that I wanted. This I have calculated to be about 1,260litres per hour. So perhaps I could have had a smaller, cheaper pump. What I don't know at this stage is whether the flow is sufficient to give the oxygenation along with plants, needed to keep to give a clear balanced pond.( I am not having fish). My pond capacity is about 2,060litres and the water is green at present. This is an early stage so I am hoping it will clear. If not, perhaps I will need a filter or at least a "uv light"? Any comments or further advice would be welcome.

Hi Peter, It's always tricky gauging the perfect pump for a cascade as too little flow will mean disappointment and potentially a larger pump installed. Waterfalls and streams can often handle more flow than estimated whilst others can only handle a veritable dribble. Bypassing excess flow is a great idea to help circulate the pond but, it won't tackle single-celled algae issues (the cause of green water). We can look at either a separate submersible filter with a built-in UV Clarifier or, use any excess flow to supply to a land-based filter with UVC. Give us a call at your leisure to discuss options on 02392 373735. Best Regards, Andy Staves Water Garden Ltd.

Sound advice and good service. Only issue is with product itself insofar as the hose connector does not grip the hose from the water pump because the external diameter of the ribs is slightly less than the internal diameter of the hose. This means a jubilee clip is needed but it is not always possible to fit one. On their advice, I used FPTE tape but even then had to use bit of ingenuity to ensure a tight fit. I'm sure I can't be the first person to point this out and it is something the manufacturer ought to be made aware of. That having been said, the service both before and after purchase was excellent.

Water Garden have been very helpful - the manufacturer Oase less so in providing a product to the UK market without plugs. I know that in Germany everything is prohibited expect that which specifically allowed but not all markets work like that. Result is I have been shopping for parts and the installation will start tomorrow. Not looking forward to half burying it in Hayling clay baked hard by 30 deg C weather.
