“I spent three incredible weeks volunteering in India, starting with one week in Delhi on the street children programme. That week was short but super impactful. The kids were full of energy, warmth, and big smiles, and spending time with them honestly made every day feel special. A massive shoutout to Shankar, who was amazing throughout — always supportive, friendly, and making sure everyone felt comfortable and confident. You could really see how much he cares about the children and the project. The food was also a highlight — tasty, comforting, and something I genuinely looked forward to every day. Everything felt safe, well organised, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. After Delhi, I spent two weeks in Jaipur on the teaching programme, and it was just as rewarding in a different way. The children were curious, enthusiastic, and so eager to learn, which made teaching really fun and meaningful. The organisation running the project was great — well structured, supportive, and always there to help, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It truly felt like the work we were doing mattered. Overall, volunteering in both Delhi and Jaipur was an unforgettable experience that gave me new perspectives, real connections, and memories I’ll carry with me forever. I’d 100% recommend it to anyone thinking about volunteering in India.”

“I had the most amazing time working with sea turtles in Sri Lanka. The food and accommodation were spot on and the staff really look after you. The house is stunning and so close to the beach. I would highly recommend the program for Sri Lanka to anyone looking to go!”

“Dears, I'm really sorry that I have to write about the poor experience that I had with my volunteering in Cambodia. I want to highlight that this doesn't concern the school itself (I choose the teaching English program in Cambodia), but I'm referring to the organization and the project coordinator. She did not support us (I spoke also with my room mates, and they agree with this point of view). For my specific situation, she did not even know where the school where, what was my schedule time or the age range of my classes. The first week I lost 3 full days of project because of National holidays, and that's okay, but after the holidays when my project should have started, school was still closed and she didn't know anything about it, causing me to lose one full week of project, which I had already paid for. Support from her side was zero, and, moreover, her behaviour was unprofessional all the time: she asked the volunteers for presents, asked for night out making differences between the volunteers (asking some to go out, some not). I want to underline once more that this does not concern the school where I had my volunteering project, which was perfect, but I highly recommend taking further checks for the organization that manages the project because people who volunteers is worth more than this treatment.”

“I would like to sincerely thank you for the incredible medical volunteering experience I had the opportunity to live in Arusha. It is an experience I will always carry with me. In particular, I want to thank Mark Matolo for his constant presence and for the way he manages and coordinates everything here in Arusha. His commitment makes this experience so well organized, welcoming, and rich in human value. I also want to express my gratitude to all the people who, every day, contribute to making our stay safe, comfortable, and pleasant. I have always felt protected, supported, and accompanied—not only practically, but also emotionally. In House D and in general, each of them has been a fundamental point of reference. Besides the medical project, we also had the opportunity to take part in other wonderful and stimulating projects, which further enriched our journey. At the same time, Arusha offered us the chance to explore and enjoy everything it has to offer: breathtaking safaris, trekking, local activities, and a wide variety of experiences that made this trip complete and unforgettable. The medical volunteering program has been an extraordinary opportunity for personal and professional growth. This journey has enriched me deeply, and I would do it again without hesitation, exactly as it was. Thank you once again for your work and for making this experience so special.”

“Volunteering with children in Cusco was an amazing experience. The kids were incredibly sweet, full of joy and affection, and their smiles made every moment unforgettable. Professora was always kind and supportive, making me feel welcome and part of the group. I stayed with a wonderful host family who made me feel like one of their own. The accommodation was comfortable, with a beautiful panoramic view, and the food, cooked by Cintia, was absolutely delicious. Their kindness and hospitality made my time in Cusco even more special. Cintia was especially kind and always ready to help with much tips, making me feel at home from the very first day. Rachele was also helpful and took the time to show me how to get around Cusco, giving me clear directions and great advices. This experience taught me so much about empathy, gratitude, and cultural exchange. The kindness of the Peruvian people and the breathtaking beauty of the landscapes made this journey truly unforgettable. I will always carry the memories of Cusco and its wonderful people in my heart.”

We finished our three days at the school today, working with the children, who are wonderful. Our stay in our accommodation and Raquel's support were also positive. “Hi everyone I just stayed a month in ghana and worked in a Kindergarten, It was a very nice experience and I enjoyed my self. If I could change something it would have been the project because the kindergarten I was working at didn’t really give you the feeling of needing any actual help since they already had enough teachers, equipment and everything. Maybe by working in a poorer project one could have actually helped more. Appart from that everything went well and I would definitely recommend. PS: one month I think was the perfect stay, I would have maybe stayed max. 2 weeks longer but that’s it.”

“Very well-organized and much support provided from VolSol. I would volunteer with them again; the volunteer house was beautiful, right across from the beach and the meals were delicious. The dog vcare programme was intense but very rewarding. Thank you for the experience :)”

“t was a wonderful and authentic experience. Volunteering Solutions allowed me to travel while helping people. I spent two weeks in Tanzania volunteering at schools. It was truly absurd to discover how people live there, but it was equally wonderful to meet the locals and be able to do something to help them. The facilities were fine and the managers were friendly. My only criticism is that there are many schools and orphanages in need that are not listed by the association, and if you want to get in touch with them, you have to organise it yourself.”
