“I had an amazing experience with Volunteering Solutions’ medical programs in Jaipur, India and Chiang Mai, Thailand. In Jaipur, I had more hands-on opportunities and learned directly from healthcare professionals, while in Chiang Mai I gained valuable insight into hospital practices and cultural approaches to medicine. “è stata un'esperienza fantastica, sia dal punto di vista del volontariato, sia dal punto di vista interpersonale. Noi siamo stati al Mutuini Dagoretti Sub-County Hospital e ci siamo trovati benissimo sia con lo staff che con i pazienti. Inoltre abbiamo avuto la fortuna di conoscere degli altri volontari con cui abbiamo subito stretto amicizie che dureranno oltre il periodo di volontariato. “I joined the Corals of Mikindani program in south Tanzania. It was my first time in Africa but won't be the last. Eco2Diving is an special place for diving and volunteering in marine conservation. Martha and Laurent are running the business and they keep repopulating corals in the bay since more than 5 years now. There you will stay in a very nice lodge just some meters away from the calm ocean. They will provide all you need for diving, a healthy menu and solve any problem or doubt you may have in the daily routine. If you like diving you will love it here.”

“During my 2 weeks stay in Bali doing the marine conservation program, I’ve learned so much about the importance of restoring the marine ecosystem. Thanks to the amazing staff and local fishermen's I was able to help constructing some artificial corals and send them to the ocean, it was a hard work to be honest but totally worth it, because after I dived into the sea to move the sculptures I was baffled by the amazing view, loads of fishes and corals all beginning from the scratch. That made me feel so confident and happy about the beautiful project! Plus, made some great friends during the stay and got to meet the amazing locals people, they were so nice and friendly to us. Certainly would recommend this program to everyone, is a must experience!”

“I joined the sea turtle program in Sri Lanka and honestly it was such a special experience. Helping with the hatchlings and taking care of the turtles was amazing, and the local team made me feel really welcome from day one. It wasn’t always easy, but that made it even more meaningful. I also got to meet some great people from around the world and explore the beautiful beaches. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who loves animals and wants to do something worthwhile while traveling.”

“We were a group of four friends who joined the 2 Weeks Special Volunteer Program in Delhi this July, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the Volunteering Solutions team made everything smooth and stress-free with great support and coordination. The volunteer work was meaningful and gave us the chance to contribute while also learning so much about the local culture. The children we worked with were full of energy, and it was rewarding to spend time teaching and engaging with them. Beyond volunteering, the cultural immersion activities and sightseeing tours were fantastic—we got to explore Delhi’s highlights, experience authentic Indian food, and even enjoy weekend trips that gave us a deeper look into India’s rich history and traditions. “Fare volontariato in Arusha, Tanzania è stata un’ esperienza bellissima e gratification. Personalmente mi sono occupato dell’insegnamento e della tutela dei bambini all’orfanotrofio Faraja e al centro disabilità, per una durata di 3 settimane. Nel corso dell’esperienza non ci sono stati problemi di alcun tipo grazie all’ottima organizzazione e alla disponibilità degli operatori. Il prezzo delle varie attività e servizi era più che onesto (il mio pacchetto comprendeva anche un safari di 2 giorni). Consiglio vivamente un’esperienza del genere!!”

“The organization Volunteering Solution has supported us from the very beginning through the various phases of the project. Their assistance has been consistent. Unfortunately, they should more carefully vet the local partners they collaborate with, because the actual volunteering experience turned out to be disappointing and far from what was promised: the owner of the turtle sanctuary does not genuinely care about animal welfare, but rather sees it as a source of business and profit; the presence of volunteers is pointless and the activities outlined in the program are not fully carried out; there is a lack of efficient management aimed at improving the situation. Supporting our impressions, we observed poor coordination in the activities and the fact that healthy adult or juvenile turtles are kept solely to be shown to visitors. The positive aspect was the organization and management of the afternoon activities, which focused on tourism and learning about the local culture.”

“Volunteering Solutions association has supported us from the beginning throughout the various phases of the project, and their assistance is constant. Unfortunately, however, they should better monitor their local partners, as the actual volunteering experience has proven to be a huge disappointment: the owner of the turtle sanctuary doesn't truly care about animal welfare; instead, it represents a source of income for him. The volunteers' presence is pointless, and the program's activities are barely carried out. Our experience is further confirmed by the total lack of coordination of the activities and the fact that perfectly healthy adult turtles and hatchlings are kept at the sanctuary for the sole purpose of being shown to visitors. Positive note: the afternoon program of tours is interesting.”

“I spend three weeks with Volunteering Solutions in South-Africa, of which two in the teaching program in Cape Town, and one in the Township program in Port Elizabeth. Both were an amazing experience! The support I received was impressive. The housing, especially in Port Elizabeth, blew my mind, as they take great care of you. They make you feel like family. Also in Cape Town the accommodation was nice. The projects were incredible. I loved teaching in Cape Town. The Township program (with childcare in an orphanage) in Port Elizabeth stole my heart. The memories of playing, singing, laughing,... is the best gift I could have asked for. Totally worth the very reasonable price VolSol asks. I will be back!”

“I spent a week in Kathmandu working in a public school. This experience has been amazing for several reasons; culture, city, food, children, locals I met and my adventure companions. The place we stayed was "complicated" for me; spiders, cockroaches and, unfortunately, my companions saw also a rat in our dining room. Rashmila and her her sister were very kind with me. If I may offer some advice; keep the front door always closed and provide important information immediately (how to call a taxi, the location of the laundry, ATM), fortunately when I arrived I met a girl who was leaving the house and gave me some of this info.”

“I was able to spend a week at the Children's Home in Nairobi and would have loved to stay longer! The children are simply enchanting, and the directors and the entire team are warm and dedicated. As a volunteer, my tasks were varied – from playing and caring for the children to changing diapers, sorting beans, and washing dishes. I enjoyed every task, and I felt completely at home 😊. At the Volunteer House in Lower Kabete, I had a simple but very clean penthouse private room with a fantastic view. Dinner was delicious every day, and Joe and Joseph were always helpful and friendly. The exciting Sunday tour through Nairobi with Joe was also particularly enjoyable – from the city center to the slums, to the Giraffe Center and the Crocodile Farm. An unforgettable experience! I highly recommend the volunteer program to everyone and give it a full 5 stars. Thank you for this enriching time!”

Everyone at the Widya Sari school was incredibly kind and welcoming, I've felt very supported during my three weeks of teaching. The camp was lovely, I loved the traditional housing and overall environment.
