“I had my cataracts done and lens replacement the service is absolutely wonderful the staff look after you really well , And the consultant Jonathan Ross is amazing and such a nice man makes you feel at ease. The whole experience was fantastic and I can now read without glasses and the colours of things are wonderful it’s like a whole new world!!!”

“I had an eye procedure at vision Scotland which I was worried about. Soon my worries disappeared when met by a team of lovely caring staff. Every single staff member I met was excellent. All kind. Gave expert information and everything explained well. Op went smoothly and was very happy. The dr was very reassuring throughout. Thank you so much to you all”

“First class service from start to finish. All staff were so friendly and professional and supported me through initial appointment to my cataract replacement procedure. Every step was clearly explained. I chose to have both eyes (cataracts) done at yhe same time. To have my vision Totally restored is absolutely amazing and life changing. I am ow seeing like a 10 year auld laddie...nae more specs for me. Many thanks to the team in Aberdeen.”

“I had cataract surgery on both eyes one at a time with two weeks between. The whole experience was very professional but tempered with care and consideration for the patient. The equipment seemed to be state of the art and overall the results are excellent. I had concerns about my deteriorating sight prior to the procedure. This manifested itself mainly with poor night vision making driving at night well nigh impossible. During the day, although I could see well enough, there always appeared to be a bit of a haze in the far distance. Although I have only ever required ready readers for screen work and reading for the past forty years, the strength required had been increasing. Following the cataract surgery distance vision is virtually perfect and no glasses are required for reading or screen and driving at night is possible and much safer. I would count this as a major success for the fabrication of the intraocular lens and the undoubted skill of the surgeon in fitting them. I have nothing but praise for the whole procedure which has given me back almost perfect vision and made the world a much brighter place. Professor Alex Close”

“I am extremely pleased at my cataract operation on both eyes conducted December 2024. The whole experience from first pre-op contact through to post-op follow-up was extremely professional and friendly. My post-op sight has changed my life and is better than it was 60 years ago (yes 60) when as a trainee desigh engineer I stood at a drawing board - long before computer aided design. When I now look at my bedside clock at night I now see every pixel !!!!”

“The whole process was seamless from my initial assessment to the cataract surgery two weeks later. Everything was clearly explained and I have had no problems at all post surgery. All of the staff without exception were very professional, friendly and helpful.”
