“Excellent service a real family company beautiful items hand painted have ordered a sign for family member as present as well as ordering two for myself received and thrilled with look beautiful on my garden gateway walls. Much better than the photos on website in real life!!!!!”

“We have recently received another sign for our cottage for a back entrance, after commissioning one in May 2018 for the front. We thought that the old sign was lasting well but on closer examination after the new one arrived, we found that the resin is peeling off taking some of the painting with it. Whilst we appreciate that five years is probably a reasonable length of time given the life of some goods you buy today, the signs are expensive (£117) and I would have thought that with a good resin coating, it should have lasted longer. Village Green have offered me a £15 discount on a new sign but in truth I would not have ordered a second sign if I had noticed the wear on the first one. I am posting this review so that others will be aware that these signs are not designed to last long. Such a shame, because I like to buy things made in the UK, which I hope they are.”

Hi Thank you for leaving a review. We are sorry to hear that your house sign has deteriorated over time. Although our signs are durable to the elements this does depend on the location and the upkeep of the sign. Any manufacturer issues are covered within our 1 year guarantee due to manufacturing issues being apparent within this time. “We moved into our new home just before Christmas and promised ourselves a lovely new house sign to go with our new home. We spent sometime looking for something nice and really liked what we saw with Village Green signs so placed an order. We knew we had to wait a while for the sign to be made up but it was well worth the wait. It now has pride of place on the picket fence just outside our home.”

“Communication was good as the office was relocating and this info was passed on that the order would be a little delayed but it was still received with 10 days and the product was great quality with all the fixings”

Hi Stephen We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the quality and the aftersales. After looking into this, we can see that a member of our customer care team was in touch regularly and asked for a full front-facing image of the signs received, which were not provided. From parts of the images that I can see, it looks as though you are referring to the small air dents within the lettering. This is caused by air bubbles within the vacuum-forming process, and is very common. We show these on our website as they are not something that we can eliminate I'm afraid. “Briliant website, very disappointed with quality of floral sign, letters had dents and paintwork on letters not sharp when looking close up! I was replacing a sign I had for over 30 years, after a battle returned for a full refund, had to pay postage as the company refused to believe it was faulty but natural marks in the process, I don't think so!”

Hi Paula Thank you for leavign a review. We are sad to see that you are unhappy with the product received. From looking into this, we can see that your sign was not damaged nor faulty, and what you are referring to are small air dents within the lettering which are a natural occurrence during the vacuum forming, and are shown on our website examples. However, as we could see that you really were not satisfied we advised that it could be returned for a full refund, however, this was a gesture of goodwill as it is a personalised product and non faulty, Many thanks Village Green Signs

“Very pleased with the 3 new signs I ordered for our home. Easy website to navigate, I was kept informed of the progress and lead time and the products were beautifully made when they arrived. Each sign was well packed in bubble wrap and in sufficient protective packaging but not a ridiculously over packaged as so often happens these days.”
