“Briliant website, very disappointed with quality of floral sign, letters had dents and paintwork on letters not sharp when looking close up! I was replacing a sign I had for over 30 years, after a battle returned for a full refund, had to pay postage as the company refused to believe it was faulty but natural marks in the process, I don't think so!”

Hi Paula Thank you for leavign a review. We are sad to see that you are unhappy with the product received. From looking into this, we can see that your sign was not damaged nor faulty, and what you are referring to are small air dents within the lettering which are a natural occurrence during the vacuum forming, and are shown on our website examples. However, as we could see that you really were not satisfied we advised that it could be returned for a full refund, however, this was a gesture of goodwill as it is a personalised product and non faulty, Many thanks Village Green Signs

“Very pleased with the 3 new signs I ordered for our home. Easy website to navigate, I was kept informed of the progress and lead time and the products were beautifully made when they arrived. Each sign was well packed in bubble wrap and in sufficient protective packaging but not a ridiculously over packaged as so often happens these days.”

“The sign is absolutely beautiful and I am thrilled with it. Beautifully crafted and looks great on the house. The only slight drawback is how long it took to arrive but I do appreciate that it is hand-crafted and therefore takes longer to make. I would defintely use Village Green Signs again.”

“I ordered a house number sign, which was a black disk about 9 inches in diameter, with the white house number sign surrounded with pink primrose flowers. Yes, these do produce a good effect and I'm sure will be popular with visitors. The cost - £34 - was some way above what would be asked for simple numbers And what was not obvious at the time I ordered was that I would have to wait for the simple design to be individually painted and then shipped from the USA - a process which took several weeks. These days one has come to expect goods which one orders from a company like Amazon to appear at one's door the next day. If there is to be a lengthy wait, I would like that to be flagged well in advance of buying.”

We are sorry to hear that you are not entirely satisfied with the length of time that it took to produce and deliver your unique hand-crafted and made-to-order sign. Our company is a small family-run company and not a corporate company such as Amazon, and the product purchased is handmade and hand-painted, so it is not an off-the-shelf sign. Our resin signs do take 6-8 weeks to produce and dispatch to the UK, or 8-10 weeks for international deliveries. This is noted on our website at the checkout, so apologies if you did not notice this. “The house number we bought through a craft fair 30 years ago had faded badly, but we quite like it, so were pleased when we found an identical design at Village Green Signs. Ordering was straightforward; we had a query relating to the online order form, but it was quickly cleared up by a phone call. The new house number arrived within the specified time, and it looks splendid.”

“The quality of the sign is excellent, we were kept informed regarding the progress of our order, I guess the only thing to remember when ordering is that delivery lead times can be quite long. But the end product is certainly worth waiting for.”
