“I had a wonderful experience with Village Green Signs I ordered 7 weeks prior to Christmas and the sign was for my Son for Christmas. I was a little concerened that it would not come in time so rang and spoke to a lovely Lady who said they would try their best for me which they did and it arrived in time for Christmas which was really good. It arrived in perfect condtion and beautifully painted and my Son is absolutely thrilled to bits with his sign so I am a very Happy Lady.”

“Would have liked a slightly smaller sign but not an option. Painting quality is ok. Hope it lasts, had thought it was metal rather than wood, which was my mistake.”

Hi Sarah, thank you for your feedback! I am pleased to confirm your sign is made from resin rather than wood. I believe I may have a plaque in a smaller size in our reserve, custom signs. “The website looks good with plenty of choice and I found what I was looking for at a reasonable price. I was warned to expect a bit of a wait for my order which I was fine with. 5 weeks after placing my order, it dropped through my letterbox and I expectantly opened the parcel, excited to see the finishing touch to my freshly painted house, to find the sign in the picture. The sign looks OK from a distance and the numbers are nicely painted but the outlines of them are full of bubbles where the resin has caught air during the casting process and looks pretty poor close up. I sent a photo and email to the company, to which they replied with a "We can't do anything about that so tough" email. I don't think that's very good quality to be sending out the door to be honest and I feel that they don't really care about trying to address the issues in this process. I'm going and try to paint the sign numbers again myself to hide the imperfections. Future buyers just be warned about the quality of these signs and they might not live up to your expectations.”

“We are thrilled with the house sign that we received. However, we have only awarded 4 stars as it took longer to arrive than the quoted 6-8 weeks and we had to chase as the delay was not communicated.”
