“I'm very happy with the sign that I received and the process of ordering and customising it was simple and efficient. I was provided with a picture of a mock-up to approve before manufacture, which was very useful. Updates on the manufacturing process were provided by email and my contact with customer service was always friendly and efficient. The finished sign arrived well-packaged, and with fixing screws and wall plugs. Delivery took a bit longer than expected, but this is a minor thing. My only niggle is that I did not receive any notification of delivery of the final sign. What I did receive is notification of delivery of an unspecified item from a company that I'd never heard of and wasn't aware had any connection to Village Green Signs. (I had to do a bit of internet digging and use a bit of intuition to figure out that the mystery item was probably the sign.) Perhaps this part of the process needs tidying up?”

“The staff were very helpful during the ordering process, sending mockups and giving advice on size etc. I was advised that handpainted designs took time to produce and was kept informed of progress during that time. The final product has been carefully painted but the roses have been edged with a much more vibrant pink than the example on the website so is not as natural looking as I expected.”

“Quick tunaround and good quality. However I would have liked more flexibility in the design process. It was one of the better create your own design sites but I really wanted the ability to adjust the line spacing and to have control over the positioning of the text relative to the fixing holes. With my signs the screw covers impinge slightly on the lettering - completely avoidable if the customer had the ability to fine tune the design. Otherwise pretty good.”

We are only able to have a certain amount of standard templates for the layouts for our signs as the templates are pre-made by our design team. We do however offer a bespoke service where our designers can create your own layout and specifications :) If the screw covers do impede on the sign details, please email a full front-facing photo to support@villagegreensigns.co.uk so that we can look into this for you as this should not be the case. We do advise of an 11-week delivery time on our website and you should be notified of each production stage via an automatically generated email. “Beautiful house plaque, however it didn't seem to warrant the price paid . The wait is a bit too long too. Really thought it would be a heavier more substantial sign , its quite lightweight. On a positive note it does look great”
