“Holes in number plate did not match backing plate. Also fixing QR code did not work”

“Quick tunaround and good quality. However I would have liked more flexibility in the design process. It was one of the better create your own design sites but I really wanted the ability to adjust the line spacing and to have control over the positioning of the text relative to the fixing holes. With my signs the screw covers impinge slightly on the lettering - completely avoidable if the customer had the ability to fine tune the design. Otherwise pretty good.”

We are only able to have a certain amount of standard templates for the layouts for our signs as the templates are pre-made by our design team. We do however offer a bespoke service where our designers can create your own layout and specifications :) If the screw covers do impede on the sign details, please email a full front-facing photo to support@villagegreensigns.co.uk so that we can look into this for you as this should not be the case. “The products are made to a very high standard. However it would be helpful to be updated with the progress of orders especially when they are taking longer than usual.”

We do advise of an 11-week delivery time on our website and you should be notified of each production stage via an automatically generated email. “Beautiful house plaque, however it didn't seem to warrant the price paid . The wait is a bit too long too. Really thought it would be a heavier more substantial sign , its quite lightweight. On a positive note it does look great”

“It took quite some time from order to delivery and reasonably happy with the sign. I assumed wrongly that the sign would be made/cast from something more substantial like iron however I believe it to be of a cast resin of some sort. I was concerned in that even when being extra carfull when fitting, the paint just under the screw heads started to peel off easily and although not a major problem my main concern is how the paints will weather as there seems to be no protective clearcoat (such as a varnish or laquer) to protect the lovely paintwork. Time will tell although generally pleased at this stage.”

“Took four months from start to finish, but I believe they had staffing issues due to Covid. The finished sign was lovely, just what we wanted. It was bright and cheerful and easy to see when coming down our little lane. I would certainly recommend this company to others.”

“Having waited two weeks for anything to tell me when it would arrive I chased them up. I did get a reply and within the next 10-14 days the sign arrived. The sign itself is lovely and was very well packaged to protect it in transit.”

“The sign I bought from Village Green Signs is beautiful, I love it! The price is reasonable too, I had been considering one at twice the price before I found Village Green Signs. I've knocked one star off because it felt like a long wait from ordering to receiving the sign, however, it was within the quoted timeframe. I would recommend them and use them again myself.”
