“I ordered a 12”x8”resin crocus & snowdrop house sign at a cost of £101.00 which the website said was in stock on 18/6/2020. I expected to receive a confirmation of my order with an order number by return which is usual when ordering online. I received no confirmation or order number, I checked my bank account and the money had been taken out. I tried calling the number on village green website only to have a answer phone message say that due to Covid staff are working remotely and will answer emails as quickly as possible. I sent an email asking for confirmation of my order and reassurance that the order will be honoured. I received a customer survey back on how I rated the support I received. I had received no customer support so sent back that I was unsatisfied and followed this with a further 2 emails asking for confirmation of my order. As yet I’ve received no communication from village green as to what’s happening with my order and cannot track without an order number. Whilst I appreciate the pandemic delaying service, it is not an excuse for a total disregard of any form of communication and suggest an unprofessional organisation. In the current difficult trading environment you would expect organisation to go the extra mile to respond to customer enquires. In the absence of any meaningful communication since the 18the June 2020, I am left no choice but to commence action to recover my money if no communication is received today.”

“Was bought as a housewarming present for a work colleague. Looks like it cost far more than it did (bonus) and they are made up with it (which was a relief!). The design/preview function on the website is a great feature to get a real idea of what the finished article would look like with various fonts/wording sizes (when it arrived, it looked exactly like it did on the tin!). The ability to add notes about the order (eg to include a note in with it, as it was delivered straight to the recipient who had no idea who it was from) would be good as you have to email after ordering, which may not get picked up in time to be actioned. But even in the current situation it was delivered within the advised timeframe. Overall, an easy process to design & order, delivered when expected, and far better quality than many others we looked at before doing so. Would definitely go back to them again in the future.”

“I ordered a sign on the 04/06/2020, order number: 000006829. The order had not progessed. I have since tried to contact them by phone and through their support email. I have yet to have any replies. I have now had to contact my bank to investigate the matter. Not impressed with the lack of costumer support. I have read other similar comments other the last two weeks. If you are unable to fulfill orders you should not be taking them.”
