Had to chase my order and was told it was late due to staffing problems. Had to chase again; this time stock problems. Still nothing so had to cancel order and went elsewhere. Hopeless!

Thank you for your Review Paul and I am sorry that you are disappointed with our service. I have checked back on our e mail logs and can see that your order was placed on the 19th Sept at which point we emailed a confirmation explaining that there would be a delay in supply due to this being an item we produce from a master log roll. I can see that you had to chase on the 25th, my apologies we could not produce this sooner. We responded on the 25th with an update and you then requested a refund on the 26th which we processed the same day. We were indeed short staffed due to one operative being on holiday, so I am sorry that we could not produce this in the time required. Thank you for bringing this to our attention via your Review and giving us the opportunity to explain fully. Many Thanks. Melanie

I bought some specilast adhesive from them with the nozzles to go with it. i had used up the last of my previous nozzles, and i have a deadline job, only to find ehtye have send the wrong ones, after waiting 2 months for them 😡

3m surface cleaner. website showed a photo of two bottles of 3m surface cleaner for £20.95. only one bottle arrived in the delivery, when I phoned to ask why only one bottle had been sent the was that it was a website problem. It is not a website problem it is miss selling and miss guiding the buyer into thinking that they are getting two bottles not one. other companies selling the same product sell one bottle for £12 to £14. Probably against advertising regulations.

My apologies that your order was delayed, I have looked into this and can see we advised of a delay on the day you placed the order due to us waiting for stock from the Manufacturer. Viking tapes sold me tape that was listed as in stock. It was not. They emailed over a day after the order to advise it would take 72hours to fulfill the order. Four days later nothing heard, nothing received. Anyone can start a website selling things they don’t have - Viking tapes insisted this was in stock. It was not. Try other company’s before Viking tapes.

Not had one reply in 6 messages sent to various Viking email addresses. I ended up.calling phone.number to be told I hadn't paid for a tracked service and that royal mail is on strike. It's been overb2 weeks now. Still no replies.

Good Afternoon Paul. Thank you for your review. We have done a search for the e mails you sent in house but can't find any, so I have asked our external IT Dpt to look into this further. My apologies that no one responded. I have checked on your order and it was sent the day after you placed it via the delivery service you selected which was 2nd class post. This service may well have been effected by the various Royal Mail strikes which are unfortunately out of our control. Unfortunately we can not track 2nd class post unlike the other options we offer via DPD. Once again thank you for bringing this to my attention. Hi Mr Thwaite Many thanks for your review. Unfortunately we do not send out VAT invoices with our deliveries at standard, however if you put a note on your order when you place it via our web site (there is a section where you can make requests or add notes) then we can do that for you. Not happy with the long delivery, Viking did not keep me up to date with the delivery details and this led to an unwanted chase up from my customer, so no not a good experience of dealing with Viking tapes.

Placed order VT46122. Received an email request to provide our EORI or VAT number on the 15th March which I duly replied to within 5 minutes. Upon my return to the office on March 21st after the long weekend (including Public Holidays on the 17th&18th March) I picked up on and replied to another request for our EORI number from the same individual to whom I had already sent it on the 15th March. I was then informed by email on the 25th March that my order was cancelled and I was getting a partial refund. When I queried this by email the reasons given were that I did not provide an EORI number and could not be contacted! So not a satisfactory experience and based on this I not be considering Viking Tapes for any future orders. Yours Sincerely Michael McCabe. CPS Ltd.

Thank you for your review Michael. Unfortunately Parcelforce would not hold on to you parcel any longer hence it got sent back to us. I appreciate there were reasons for the delay in your reply but Parcelforce will only hold items waiting for additional information for so long. The information is required due to Brexit and the new arrangements to get product to Southern Ireland. I can reassure you having checked our time line that we tried to call and e mail on many occasions to try and resolve this. Kind Regards. Melanie

parcel delivered late to the wrong address, know urgency in correcting there mistake, had to let down an important customer because of it

Hi and thank you for leaving us a review. My apologies that we delivered your initial delivery to the wrong address, unfortunately it went via Royal Mail so we weren't able to control this. We weren't able to send you a replacement immediately, to the correct address, due to being in an out of stock situation, so had to wait for the initial delivery to be returned. I appreciate this has caused you issues with your Customer which I can only apologies for. If you could confirm that your VT order confirmation number was 44651 I can issue a refund for the carriage. Good Morning Roelof. Thank you for your review. As you are aware we contacted you yesterday to say if you had not received your delivery (sent via 2nd class Royal Mail as requested by you at point of order) by Monday 13th we would send your order again free of charge. As you can imagine the postal system is under great pressure at this time of year which is out of our control. By selecting the 2nd Class Royal Mail option it clearly states we are unable to track this or determine how long it will take for your delivery to reach you. Kind Regards. Melanie

Purchased as tubeless rim tape, but simply slides around the rim so I can not get any sort on seal. I'll go back to gorilla tape. Not worth 1 star.

Poor service from start to finish. Not only was the tape I ordered not in stock! When it did arrive 3 weeks later it was of poor quality! No thanks.

Good Morning Dale, thank you for your review and I am sorry that you are disappointed with our service and the product. I have investigated this this morning and can see that we sent you an e mail explaining the delay on your order the morning after you placed your order. This delay was due to the Manufacturer, 3M, being in an out of stock situation. I can then see that you contacted us on the 8th September asking for an update and we responding advising that your delivery was in transit and on it's way to you. Although we can't control Manufacturers product delays, especially currently, we do keep in touch with our Customers and advise them of potential delays so they have the opportunity to cancel their order if they can't wait. With regard to the quality of the product, this is a branded premium tape so I am sorry that it does not satisfy your expectation. If you would like to return the tape please e mail me on mel@vikingtapes.co.uk and I will arrange DPD to collect the tape and refund for the returned rolls. Many Thanks. Melanie

When will companies understand that when you say you don't want marketing information from the outset you really don't. sure I I can opt out. I'm pretty sure when I do you'll fit some other reason to fill my inbox with unsolicited mail. I won't be using Viking again
