Hi and thank you for your review. I have looked into your order and it was for a pack of double-sided sheets. These were ordered on 24th October, dispatched the same day and DPD delivered on the 25th. Please let me know if you have received printed tape in error, however I can't see any record of that at our end. Ordered it on Friday, a week later we still haven't received it, and it now says between 4:45, and 5:45 so maybe not even delivered today as we close at 5. Won't order again from here just get from amazon.

Good Afternoon Robert. Thank you for letting us know about your experience with DPD. We have checked and can see they made a failed delivery attempt and then a successful one yesterday so you now have your tape. They recommended a tape that didn't match the spec I put in my online request. Only found out after spending over £40 on something that isn't any use to me. Went directly to 3M instead. My fault I suppose for not double checking, but hey I'm not a "tape" expert.

Waste of time. Ordered two tapes. None received. Email is vague and unspecific - presumably both tapes were out of stock? No follow up. "Due to our large product range it is not always possible to keep all products, sizes and colours in stock. Currently we do not have an item on your order in stock and available for immediate despatch, we apologise for this inconvenience."

Good Morning Peter. Thank you for taking the trouble to leave a review and for the seperate e mail to our Directors Patricia and Colin. I can confirm that we received your order at 9.37am on Thursday 6th January. At 10.38am that same day we e mailed you to communicate a delay in stock. As we did not receive a response we kept your order on back order until stock was available. Due to your review we assume you no longer require your order so have issued a full refund to the method of payment used. Kind Regards. Melanie

Waited weeks and weeks for my order. Not your fault. Just a symptom of the shutdown due to inflation. I got my order though.

None of the items required were in stock No message to say how long they would be out of stock. By the time they arrived I had sourced elsewhere.

I have checked our system and can see the e mail left us on Monday 1st March having received your order on Saturday 27th Feb. On occasion the e mails can get caught up in spam filters or end up in junk. The first sealing tape arrived after a few days however we are still awaiting the velcro tapes and it has been 3 weeks. I am told we should receive them next week so I am unable to review at present review these products. Certainly if I knew the velcro would take this long I would not have placed the order which is holding up completion of the project now.

Good Morning Kevin Thank you for bringing this to our attention and I apologise for the delay with the final part of your order. Velcro is manufactured in Spain and we are experiencing problems getting product in (and out) of Europe due to the port situation created by the new legislation caused by Brexit. Unfortunately the condition of the tape made it virtually unusable with the majority of the adhesive sticking to the layer below. Looks like the role has been crudely cut in half . Given the cost of the tape and the high price for shipping . I can’t recommend the service Viking tapes provided or the quality of the tape.

Good Morning Mark. Thank you for your review and bringing this to our attention. Clearly this is not acceptable and thankfully very rare given the amount of products we convert. I am only sorry that you did not tell us about it directly, rather than via a review, as we would have issued an immediate replacement. As we are dealing with this retrospectively the very least we can do is offer you a full refund which will be in your bank today. Good tape, poor service. Tape was in stock when ordered, but out of stock when order was confirmed. took over 2 weeks to arrive.

Took forever to arrive and was promised refund of next day postage which I paid for. Never received it. Tape took 6 weeks!!

Dear Dr Farnworth. Thank you for leaving us a review and I am sorry that you were disappointed with our service. We experienced extreme shortages of this product due to the Pandemic and the demand it created for marking out safe floor spaces. We did the very best we could to keep stock coming in but demand outweighed supply. It was very much an unprecedented situation and every other supplier experienced the same issues. Your order was sent on a next day service as requested and as soon as the stock was available, but I have requested Accounts refund back to the standard delivery as a good will gesture. Kind Regards. The tape arrived on tine no problem and was cheaper than else where, problem is it’s not really painters tape and it’s pulled all the paint from the new walls and left me with 2 days of sanding and filling, and another day of painting to put it right. I wouldn’t use this tape to mask. Gutted.....

It has happened on a couple of times I have ordered items they have been out of stock and I have not been informed and I have had to contact you about progress, so in all not very impressed

Hi David Many thanks for your review and I am sorry that you are disappointed with our communication. I have tracked back on your order and can see that you placed it at 10.18am on Wednesday Oct 9th and we responded regarding a delay in dispatch at 10.36am on the same day. Sometimes these responses go into peoples spam/junk folders so my apologies that you did not receive this. I can also see from our DPD on line tracking service that you received your delivery on Monday Oct 14th which was 3 working days after you placed it. Placed an order online, confirmation came through followed by email stating 7-10 days. Goods turned up in 3 days. Placed a 2nd order, required urgently so paid extra for fast delivery, order confirmation came through followed by the same email stating 7-10 days - as this was false information on previous order ignored it. Goods didn't arrive in specified time so had to call, advised not enough stock. Why isn't the web ordering linked to the stock? Had we know this before placing the order we would have looked elsewhere, reluctant to use the site again now especially for anything needed quickly.

I can see that we have stock due in to fulfil your order either later today or tomorrow, because of the special offer on this product (which you took advantage of on your first order) we have had a mad rush on this item. I will refund your carriage in full but still send your order on an overnight before 10.30am delivery via DPD at our cost in way of an apology as soon as the stock arrives. I appreciate how frustrating the stock situation must be for which I apologies, with the amount of products we have on our web site we can’t always guarantee immediate delivery and in this case predict demand. Ordered 4 items. 3 items arrived in 10 days around. Over 2 weeks but still waiting 1 item with no information. Too small order (£79) to give normal service?

Hi and thank you for your review. We value all our reviews good and bad so thank you for sharing your experience. I can see from our system that we advised you via e mail of a delay to your order when you placed it, unfortunately with the substantial amount of products we have on our web site it is not possible to keep everything in stock. We then spoke to you on the 21st August and sent you a part shipment and the last item on your order is due to leave this Friday and that has been communicated to you via e mail. We pride ourselves on keeping in touch with all our Customers irrelevant of the value of their order so I am sorry that we did not fulfill your expectations on this occasion. Kind Regards. Happy with price and delivery. Wasn’t happy with the physical condition of the tapes. I ordered a selection of double sided tapes, some were £44 each. The cardboard carrier was battered, the labels were illegible and they were all just thrown in a box together. I had to contact Viking for proof of manufacture to ensure the tapes were within the 12mth date. I ordered further tapes from another supplier. They all came individually bagged and in perfect condition. I won’t be using you again.

Thank you for your Review, we value all Reviews good or bad as they help us become the best Company we can become. I am sorry that your tape was not as it should have been when you received it. It should have come to you in excellent condition which it clearly didn't. I have been in touch with DPD who will have been responsible for the 'battered' box and I have spoken to production with regard to how they pack the rolls.
