They telephone staff were friendly and helpful, the vet was very good I was concerned that while waiting in the waiting room the admin staff were talking about lots of different things and one then said they had saved everything under the wrong client. I also feel the cost is excessive for an out of hours service, exactly the same treatment 1 hour earlier would be half the cost.

Very good & knowledgable found it reassuring to have such services close to home, was disappointed that there systems didn’t communicate with the daytime vets.

Very efficient friendly team but expensive because they are an emergency service therefore acceptable but to then be charged a further £16 to sign an insurance claim (insurance companies will not accept claims woihout a signature and stamp) which is non refundable by insurance leaves an unpleasant taste - just greed

3 small criticisms- 1. The vet I saw made me feel a little rushed. She made notes on a scrap of paper which didn’t make me feel very confident. 2. I was charged an admin fee which was not allowed by my insurer for completing a claim. I think this should be an inclusive charge. 3. I was charged a donation for blood transfusions! This was never mentioned! I support the cause just should have been informed upfront rather than finding out about it when it was disallowed on my claim! Otherwise staff friendly and sensitive.

Overall a very good professional and friendly service. Our dog made full recovery! The only negative was having to wait despite having nobody in front of us. Perhaps the changeover process from night to day shift could be improved. Thanks for your help 😊.

The cat was given excellent pain relief and made comfortable over the weekend; I was confident she was in safe hands. However, communication was lacking from the team regarding an overall plan and prognosis (I didn't receive promised phone calls for example and was left unsure as to what was going to happen and when), I believe this was due to them being inundated with cases. Although animal care was 5* they lose 1 star for client care.

Garfield got the emergency care he needed. Great service, friendly staff and provided slight flexibility re payment term which I was really grateful for.

Took my dog there, out of hours, with acute colitis. Very kind & thorough. Put my mind at rest & felt I could phone for further advice if required. Worth the money paid for professional advice & support

The medical service could not be faulted. Although my cat’s condition could unfortunately not be cured, it was extremely comforting that you were able to see us immediately on our arrival, and give us that appointment as soon as we phoned without having to wait. This made a very distressing time a little easier. The medical staff were professional and respectful in the situation, and understood our being upset that he had to be put down. The only negative aspect of the experience with Vets Now was in the post-treatment administration, in which I supplied a copy of an insurance claim form, the second page of which had to be completed by the vet. Despite our being charged a fee for completion of this, the form was originally sent to the insurer without having been completed by the vet. This caused delays and problems in resolving the claim. Under the circumstances, I think the fee for completing the insurance form should have been refunded, and it is that aspect that prevented awarding a fifth star. But I cannot fault the emergency service treatment, and thank the staff for being so responsive.

Very expensive for a Sunday visit, but they sorted my dog out so can't really complain. She was near death and was much better by the next day. They gave me a cheaper alternative to the £700 that it would have cost for a drip for 7 hours.
