“The fact that i have been asked to review before I received the product speaks volumes. Having been unable to source locally I ordered this deck oil as I planned to use over the Jubilee weekend. I paid for next day delivery on 31st May not expecting it to be dispatched until 1st June which it was. Only when I received noticication from DHL that my delivery was to be 6th June did I bother to read the small print to discover it says no delivery on Bank Holidays (2nd and 3rd are BHs but 4th and 5th aren't) This isn't highlighted on the checkout page. Very disappointed with service. So unable to complete the job at a time when I am able.”

Hi Steve We are sorry you didn't manage to complete your work over the weekend. Your order was placed at 1730 on the Tuesday, after the 1400 cut off for dispatch that day, and was subsequently shipped on the Wednesday, and out for delivery to you on the next working day, that being Monday 6/6. “Although well packed the tin of oil arrived with 2 dents. The other item was unmarked leading me to think the tin was damaged before it was packed.”

“Arrived quickly but unfortunately you sent me the wrong thing- the packing slip says ‘white’, which is what I ordered, but that’s not what’s in the box .”

“I ordered 3 samples of engineered wood flooring to compare with other samples from another supplier. Only 2 samples were available and these were very small in comparison to the ones I had received from the other supplier already. In fact, one of the samples was so small (annoyingly the one I was most interested in) it was not possible to assess its suitability.”

“Good product - reasonable price - appalling delivery! I paid extra for 24 hour delivery and gave detailed instructions for the possibility of not being in. I received both text and e-mail from Mail UK to confirm the delivery slot. In the event, I WAS in - but no attempt was made to deliver. When I checked the tracking information UK Mail indicated that they had attempted to deliver, but alleged that no one was available to receive the goods; an outright lie! I e-mailed them to complain and they totally ignored my complaint. The following day the parcel was delivered and UK Mail e-mailed me to tell me that my situation was now resolved. Shocking contempt for customers. Really lousy delivery company. If your reputation is important to you, you should review your delivery procedures.”

Hi Ian, we are very sorry that you experienced problems with our courier, we do always track items, however we only saw that the delivery was attempted, then reattempted successfully the following day - this is the first that we had heard that there was a problem. “I found it difficult to identify the correct wood finish from their online descriptions. Consequently I bought what I thought to be a light easily assimilated oil, but ended up with stuff that was as easy to apply as treacle! Not really what I wanted. It is so expensive, that a mistake is not good!”
