“About the Hikvision DS-2CD2442FWD-IS / 4mm camera : Pro : I bought this camera to watch the front door of my house (indoor). Camera delivered with the latest firmware 5.4. This camera is connected to my Synology NAS (Surveillance station) ; no problem to set it up. Everything is working fine. Con : No way to switch off the 3 lights on the front of the camera. Two of them (alarm & status) are blinking blue, the other one (link) orange. ;-( An update of the firmware would be appreciated. About Use-IP Very good services from Use-IP. Camera delivered quickly (to France) by UPS.”

“Was looking for a small camera which was POE based, has good 2 way communications and had automatic day and night vision. The Hikvision DS2CD2442FWDIW| 4MP Wireless WDR fits all of these. criteria and more. Easy to setup, great value for money.”

“Dipped my toe in the CCTV water recently. Did a lot of on line research and came across use-IP Ltd. Particularly liked the forum. This enabled me to make a choice of a camera and NVR. Stuck with Hikvision for both items. Lower end of price range. Currently watching my pond and the nocturnal visits from a local fox. Learned a lot. When I expand the system I will certainly return to use-IP and Hikvision. Not the cheapest but I had no problems.”

“Ordered a NVR from useIP over the phone. I had a few questions on my selection and they were answered professionally. Payment made and delivery was a day quicker than quoted. I must add the blog is excellent and helped alot with some teething problems I had in setting it up. Keep up the good work. Would certainly recommend useIP and I will buy again from them.”

“Very good discounts and quick delivery. I've included a screenshot of Ezviz Android app of my newly installed Hikvision DS-2CD2042WD-I 6mm 4MP WDR Mini Bullet Network Camera. Even though installation wasn't easy due to my Double NAT setup its run faultless since been setup and highly recommended.”

“Our school required additional cameras to cover a new car park and barrier system. We spoke to use-IP and after giving them the job details took us through their camera recommendations and lens types. This time the type we installed was a smaller bullet camera and all I can say is that they have all been absolutely perfect. They arrived the next day after placing the order and both in night and day the images have been spot on. Unfortunately I can't upload images as we are a school but we have again been completely happy with use-IP. Advice 10/10, delivery 10/10, price 10/10”

“First class customer service and tech help. I Have used this company on and off for just over a year now and Kieran has always been first class in tech help for my system and as a novice user some of my questions were pretty basic but he was always patient and solved my problems. This time a slight hiccup occurred and a part was recommended which it turned out would not fit but as soon as use-ip realised this the part was replaced very quickly and to my great satisfaction. I will be purchasing again from and thoroughly recommend use-ip. (And before someone says it I do NOT work for or have any connection with use-ip).”

“This isn't the first time I've used use-IP and when adding another camera to my system I didn't consider going anywhere else. If ever you have a problem or need some advice you can speak to someone immediately and always resolve and issue. I can 100% recommend and will continue to use myself”

“We usually buy our cameras from large main stream distributors but this time we decided to try ordering on-line from Use-IP. The pre-sales chat support was very good and the sales representative was very helpful and knowledgeable. Pricing was very competitive and the order arrived well packed and the next day despite opting for 2-3 day delivery. We will certainly use this company again.”
