The Mobotix camera I ordered arrived very quickly, but alas without any manuals.

Hi Ari, I'm pleased to hear your camera arrived quickly, it was shipped direct from the factory in Germany. Unfortunately, none of the manufacturers provide printed manuals now. Let me know if you need a link to a pdf version, Best Regards, Phil MD use-IP Ltd

The order was packed and shipped efficiently and we received it on time. I was a little disappointed with how payment was required to be made. I went through all the verification online using our debit card to the point where I was transferred to the secure site of our bank for verification. I filled out the form and replied with verification code to our Bank to find that your site did not accept foreign cards. I can perhaps understand credit cards but not verified debit cards form the EU. The alternative offered PAYPAL incurred an additional €70 in charges so I opted for a bank transfer @ €0.18 and sent screen shot of transfer. Your company did respond with a fast pick & ship which was admirable. If we are to do continuous business in the future I would like to know that you would accept payment in advance by bank transfer and proceed to get the order together awaiting confirmation of payment.

I wonder if you are mixing us up with another supplier? Our records show that your Mr Culligan paid us online with an Ulster Bank Ireland Corporate Debit Card (4:15pm on Feb 19th), in response to a 'Pay Now Button' invoice (that Gilly sent to you at 10:39 that day). Sandra sent you a shipping confirmation invoice at 4:02pm the next day, to which Donal replied "Thanks a million". We don't use PayPal, so we would definitely not have offered payment via PayPal as an alternative. A BACS payment would have been the fallback option if there were any issues with your card. We have lots of customers in Europe who checkout via the webshop and online payment, and I can't see that you had any problems with your card payment to us - it was processed as normal via the SagePay system, Best Regards, Phil Stewkesbury MD use-IP Ltd

This review was left in error. The reviewer's apology is below, he did indeed review the wrong supplier. I've asked Reviews.co.uk (via chat and email) to take this review down, as it's not actually a review for use-IP, but they are a bit slow/dim and 2 weeks later it's still here! (even though it is irrelevant) Phil - MD - use-IP Ltd Hi Phil, Thanks for replying to my review which appears to have been wrongly directed at your company. I purchased security equipment from another UK company in the same week with the experience I outlined and made payment online by debit card. I contacted the company to confirm payment was received which it was not, and so I sent a bank transfer. As I only see one payment to your company from our bank account as a POS payment I believe you are innocent of the allegations and due my profuse apology which I hope you will graciously accept? As we hope to make more of these purchases I look forward to dealing with your company in the future and offering my apology in person.

The service from use-IP was very good. The product from HIKVision (a 2CD2042WD-I) isn't. The video plug-in isn't compatible with modern browsers and the email alert facility isn't considered secure enough for google (or Zen). Only by over-riding Google standard security settings can HIKVision-initiated emails be received at all. Use-IP should either cease selling HIKVision products, or warn potential customers of the problems they are likely to encounter.

Hello Gary, I'm sorry we had such difficulty in getting a copy invoice to you. I have checked, and our team did send a copy by email each time you requested it. I struggled to reach you too, I think we sent it six times in total but we got there in the end :)

Good pre-sales support and advice but when i needed help getting it up and running it was rather limited. As I couldn't get it to work, ie to save recordings and pictures to an external hard disk I have had to return it.

Hi Patricia, I know that Kieran spent a lot of time with you trying to set the camera up to record to your QNAP NAS. I'm sorry that we weren't able on this occasion to get it to do what you needed.

Very easy to place order, product was fine and as expected but please use another delivery firm other than APC, we missed the first delivery so attempted to contact our local APC depot to arrange collection from them. Each time we called they simply picked the phone up then immediately hung up, this went on for nearly an hour. Eventually they answered and spoke to us but they clearly have an issue with understaffing. If you used a decent courier company we would rate you five stars all day long but I am afraid for as good as your service is it is all forgotten when you have issues with the company delivering it. APC may offer great shipping rates for yourselves but that is reflected in their very poor service. For the record this is not the first occasion we have had issues with them and being perfectly honest this will prevent us from ordering from yourselves in the future which is a shame.

Hi Ransford, I am very sorry to learn that our courier APC let you down. I will ask the APC Depot that manages our account to raise this issue with their Audit Department.
