“The technique, allowing me to identify the boundary of the premises for our pre-planning application consideration submission, was a great asset. As was the immediate email with the map. Unfortunately the map was inaccurate regarding our property. 53, Muirs, on the B996, Kinross is labelled a Hall, and not as a church (St Paul's Scottish Episcopal). I would have thought that footprint of the church would indicate that it was not a hall, especially with the octagonal shape on the north-west corner suggesting something unusual, actually the bell-tower. For your information my 1979 1:50,000 and 1981 1:25,000 maps both show a church in this location, as do Google Maps. All this means that I have to present an amended version of your received map to accurately indicate our church as required by the Planning Department. Such an error and the aforementioned consequence does you a disservice, and for that reason I can not give the highest rating. I should also point out that the adjacent building to the north-west is no longer a Rectory, having been sold in 2006.”

“On the whole, the quality of the images was good. However, whilst trying to prepare the Location and Site documents, there was no clarity on how this should be done. There were plenty of references to the content of what should be submitted, but there were no guidelines on how to do this; edit the image to identify extension, then how do you incorporate that in the pdf file containing the copy right, location etc?”

“Map does exactly what I asked in terms of size. The only down side is that I purchased it in order to impose a proposed extension on the rear but the house name is so large and in the way that I couldn’t do it. A feature should be used to change house name size/location in order to facilitate this.”

“I did not realise at the time I ordered the Map that there were free Maps available which would have been excepted by Highland Council.Will know for future reference. Map quality was very good.”
