“The maps are high quality, but I found the on-line 'red boundary' marking tool difficult to use. It didn't 'allow' me to select multiple points around the boundary I was trying to mark. I had to abandon that approach, order the plain plans, and 'apply' the lines manually.”

“It was easy to find the right map but the website kept telling me I had used up all my searches even though I had registered as requested and there weren't supposed to be any restrictions. I left messages on the helpline number and emailed Customer Services but no-one got back to me at all. Eventually the website let me back in after several days and I could download the map I wanted. But still no-one got back to me. I had no help at all for a fault that was obviously part of the website. Not happy! And not a good experience.”

“I phoned to ask for some advice and the girl on the telephone spoke to me like I was an idiot. I found this quite strange as she did not seem to know what she was talking about and this is her job. I asked would my map cover the whole of an a4 page and not just the square in the middle she gave a very vague answer. I asked for my map to show where my property met the highway, she said it would... it doesn't.. So all in all an unpleasant, not to say costly, experience. When you are advertising maps specifically for planning purposes I would suggest you actually know what architects and planning authorities are asking for.”

“Ordering online was a quick and simple process. The plans comply with the requirements of the local planning office. Having the site and location plans as paper copies as well as computer files is a great advantage for home users who don't have easy access to a colour laser printer or copier.”
