“I am SO pleased I came across these guys. My underfloor heating in the kitchen was tripping the electrics and there seemed to be no easy or cheap solution. Having been told by various people that my whole kitchen flooor would have to come up, fitted units moved, that it would be really expensive to test the underfloor heating and it would probably need to be replaced, that walls would be damaged where the thermostats were - the list goes on... the friendly voice at the end of the phone was reassuring and put my mind at ease. At worst the damage would be one tile - easily replaceable and the set price meant there would be no hidden surprises. The form was easy to fill in and I got a quick response re fixing up a time to suit very early in the morning. The engineer turned up on time, was friendly and helpful and quickly ascertained the heating was fine so no need to disturb the tiles. It turned out to be a faulty thermostat which was quickly replaced and I was given clear instructions as to how to use it. I will be recommending UFH to everyone - including the various builders and electricians who just saw pound signs when I contacted them! Thankyou to all the UFH team! I am looking forward to my warm kitchen now the weather is getting colder.”

“Thanks to Vicky in the Office,advice and booking was made easy. The specialists turned up as promised and with their special equipment made short work of repairing the break. It was tested and a minor problem in the way the underfloor heating cable was originally fitted was highlighted and advice given of how to rectify it”

“We installed 2 underfloor heating mats, 1 worked, 1 didnt. The options were take the floor up and start again or try for repair. The repair was done quickly and with the minimal of mess. The cost was well below what it would have been to replace so we're chuffed to bits.”

“Arrived nice an early. Really nice fella.Kept us updated as to what was wrong with the flooring, sorted it. Also how to use the heating. he arrived with lovely clean white socks, he left with dirty socks. Would recommend this company to anyone who has under floor heating 10/10”

“An excellent service from start to finish. From the initial advice given by the extremely helpful office manager who convinced me that repairs were possible......... To the arrangement of a date to carry out the repair with phone call the night before the repairs to let me know the time of arrival. To the locating of the 3 faults (shoddy builder unfortunately) and ultimately their repair. The engineer was very helpful and extremely tidy, can thoroughly recommend. Thank You!!!!”

“Had some problems with underfloor heating system and was looking for a company to test the system and repair if necessary. Also needed a call out fairly quickly as was going to be away for a while. Vicky at the office was very helpful arranging the appointment before the firm's two week holiday. She was also very efficient sorting out paperwork needed for the job in time, emailing me confirmation of job date and time in the evening. Very impressed. Guys came out as arranged and tested system replacing a thermostat, found problem under laminate flooring and fixed. Again very polite professional and tidy. Would definitely recommend.”

“Can't believe how good these guys were - right from start to finish. Probable fault with UFH diagnosed over the phone and a rough estimate provided. Several phone calls to set up a mutually convenient time and the 2 guys who attended to fix the problem were models of politeness and helpfulness - and they cleaned up after themselves. Although the repair cost slightly more than the estimate due to the problem being more complex than anticipated, I was kept fully informed and everything explained to me. I wouldn't hesitate to use these people again and thoroughly recommend them to anyone who has an under floor heating problem.”

“My tile provider arranged for this company to attend to my damaged under-floor heating as it had recently failed when some new tiles were added to my new kitchen. The 2 guys arrived when they said they would, got the job sorted and were very tidy and courteous during the 2 hours it took them to finish the job, in view of the above I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.”

“From the very start with Vicky keeping us up to date with all the details. The guy was very prompt, turned up exactly on time and was very careful to successfully find the fault, clean and tidy and only had to remove 1 tile. “The men arrived early, took some time to identify where problem was (very thorough), removed one tile (without breaking it), fixed the problem, tested the repair and cleared up after them. The whole experience worked well. After despairing I would ever have underfloor heating again without lifting the whole floor, I now have a system that works.”

“My underfloor heating failed due to what i suspected was a break in a DIY repair i made on the mat when i installed it after the dog chewed it (yes stupid i know, stupid). After months of hard work finishing my bathroom, the heating mat failed after about a month of use. My heart sunk and I had visions of having to take up the whole floor and start again. Fortunately i found the UFH team. I called explained my issue to Vicky and she seemed very confident they could pin-point the location of the failure and fix it, so I booked the repair. Armed with what looked like all the gadgets from Ghost Busters, Doug arrived, fired up the proton pack and PKE Meter and found the exact point of the problem which he showed me on the thermal imaging cam. He only needed to lift a single tile to do the repair (which was done without damage to the adjacent tiles). After the repair, I was able to see the success of the job on the thermal cam. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Great job!”
