“As a woman I feel a little uncomfortable going into a garage and always expect to be charged the earth,but what a refreshing change to go to Tyres Northampton, I had a problem with my car and went in for some advice and a 2nd opinion after visiting another garage. I was more than satisfied with the very clear informative advice given and unusually felt no pressure to buy anything, I was also offered a coffee whilst my car was looked at. This is a very high class service and i will definitely be going back for any future work that is required”

“Had a new tyre fitted today at a cost of £125 and was advised I needed another new (identical) tyre - total cost would be £375. When I queried the additional £125 (2 tyres at £125 each = £250) I was told the balance was for tracking. I challenged the quote of £125 for tracking and was told I just didn't understand what was involved in tracking. I declined to have the second tyre fitted. I've made arrangements to have the second tyre supplied and fitted plus the tracking corrected by another supplier for £140 (I've used the supplier before and know I can trust them). I will neither be returning to Tyres Northampton nor recommending them to anyone.”

I am sorry to hear about your recent visit to Tyres Northampton and I can only apologise if you feel that we did not explain thoroughly
On the advice we were trying to give. On arrival we complete a job sheet for every vehicle which lists what the customer requires and any notes
Detailing extra work that we have advised back to the customer. On reviewing your vehicle notes we have listed that a further tyre was required at £125, we have advised that we could re-balance the other 2 tyres at £12 each and then we could check the Geometry which we do not charge for but if any adjustments were required this would cost £50.99. If all the work would have been required this would have come to £324.99. We can only advise a price on the Geometry because until this has been checked we are unable to assess what is required. I apologise again if you feel that this was not explained correctly at the time and hope that you would reconsider using our company again when you next require any tyres.
