Unfortunately did not start well. The main engineer turned up with his mate. Lucky he did have another guy with him as he could hardly walk. Ok gave benefit of extreme doubt and gave go ahead to do straight away. Big mistake. Took hours for job that that should have been an hour at most with 2 people doing the work (one guy just sat there giving instructions). Trunking they ran from power not stuck to wall properly. Power, Aerial and Sky cable wires exposed out of the trunking on external corner. Sky box just left hanging behind the TV (I had sky q bracket for them to put it in). They said not enough room behind TV to mount it. Absolute rubbish, I have since mounted it myself. The extension socket run to back of TV was just hanging again behind TV. I also fixed it after they had gone Finally they did not clean up after themselves and left rubbish behind. Regret now asking this company to do the work. You learn by your mistakes. Sorry I am not a complainer but this took the biscuit! I will be surprised if I get some sort or remedy.

Hi Mr.Perks and thank you for bringing the above to our attention and I am sorry you were unhappy with our recent visit. Had you contacted us rather than post a negative review we could have tried to resolve the situation. Unfortunatley, this was not the case.
Really disappointed with the service provided. We had two TVs and sound bars put on the wall with the wires channeled in as well as a loft aerial installed. The wire channeling has been done to such a poor finish that we have had to hire a painter decorator to try and fix the issue who has told us that we will never be able to have the walls returned to an acceptable aesthetic due to the poor workmanship caused by TV Aerial Specialists. The worrying part was the two employees sent by TV aerial specialists thought the plaster finish was acceptable. The one of the sound bars rattle when sound is played. On installing the aerial, the ladder was rested on the ceiling boards causing them to crack which has required repairs. Overall I would discourage using this company as the quality of finish is really below acceptable standards and results unforeseen costs getting other companies to repair the work.

Hi Oliver, its Sean from TVAS here. Im sorry you have been unhappy with the works carried out and looking at the photos I have to agree. I have to ask though why you didnt bring any of your concerns to our notice BEFORE posting? We have had no opportunity to rectify any issues and are now stuck with a damaging 1 Star review. Seems rather unfair to me.
Terrible service. Innapropriate conversation and lousy job. Had to get another company back to rectify their work. Very rude lady on the phone that I called when I was not happy. Told me it wasn't my fault I worked and could not get out to me. Do not recommend at all.

Theres always one ! Customer was unable to be home on any of the appointments we suggested. Revisited once to centralise the TV ( 2 min job needed moving 20mm) and checked all TV signals that were ( supposedly ) breaking up ( no fault found ) customer was aggresive over the telephone to our staff and this is not acceptable.
Months after paying £400 we are still without the Satellite TV we asked for. Back in December of 2021 arranged for an engineer to set up Satellite TV. The engineer was not fit to do the job, could not pull the cables through without help, did not know how to setup to box himself and could not climb a ladder to mount the dish to the house. The dish ended up so low we almost have to duck past it to get to our side entrance and we had to workout the setup of the box together to get it working. A few days after the engineer left the satellite stopped working with no picture being received. Engaged in multiple phone calls in which we were told a engineer would be arranged to come out and fix the issue but given no date and no one ever arrived. Phoning back multiple times over the next couple weeks results in similar responses. We have tried emailing instead but other that sporadic replies and suggestions like un-plug and re-plug the box or turn it on and off again, try another box/cable, nothing has been done and months later (May 2022) we still do not have working satellite. We have paid more than £400 and have received nothing that seems to work, poor workman ship and dreadful customer service

Unfortunately not all true. The antenna position was agreed before installation. We have since sent a replacement receiver and are still awaiting the return of the original one. As always, there are two sides to every story. We cannot be held responsible for customers who cannot understand the menus of their own receiver. We did try ( on several occasions ) over the phone and via email to resolve the loss of picture ( sound ) was still fine. An unfortunate experience for all. Regards, Sean Howard. Asked for a quote. Got a call on Sunday evening to arrange a time. Gave a vague will be there between 8am and 5pm and then the engineer never turned up on the day.

The Engineer did call but got no reply. An unfair review
Avoid. Damaged my brand new tv and new cabinet. Heavy Sky Glass TV brand new. Dropped by a young lad who didn’t seem to know what he was doing, the other fella could barely walk let alone carry a TV. Tried to charge £50 for brackets that cost £10 on eBay. Wanted £250 to mount two TV’s. I just wanted them done for the safety of my children but now I wish I’d looked elsewhere. Really shoddy and left the place in a complete mess. Was even asking me for tools that they should carry. I even ended up helping them because I could see what cowboys they were.

What nonsense, the customers boyfriend damaged the TV not our guys. Internal CCTV was available but customer refused us access to the footage. Very unfair comments

Why not let our Office know of the problem Charles?
I wouldn't usually leave a bad review but I explained the problem with my tv in an email then again over the phone when making the booking for Saturday morning. The engineer called me about 8.20am and said he would be about 30mins until he asked me to confirm my fault. He thought he was coming out to fix an aerial and I had mentioned twice that my tv was stuck in a boot loop.

Wires left just anywhere not channelled in or put into trunking. A 300 bill for a bracket and someone to do 8 bolts. Not very impressed

Horrible customer service - Woman on the phone was rude and unhelpful and very unprofessional. Was meant to have an appointment on a Friday and the guy never came. Then booked again for Tuesday and got told I was the first slot 8am - heard nothing till I called them at 10:30. Again, the same receptionist was of no help and incredibly rude. I decided to go with another company who had much better handling as this was atrocious. Do NOT recommend.

Absolutely awful service we booked a Tv to be wall mounted by this outfit. Two guys rocked up who could hardly walk they proceeded to try and wall mount our brand new out of the box working 75” 8k TV. One of the guys damaged the TV, said he did then ever since Sean has backtracked denying they did it. They left the house in a mess and apologised for the damage (because that helps doesn’t it). Sean initially went radio silent ignoring my calls, then responded denying all blame. So I’m left with a damaged TV and out of pocket to the tune of £1700 thanks guys great service (sarcasm)

Booked TV Aerial Specialists for TV Wall mounting. Was initially told 8am-1pm time slot... waited and then called at 11am just to confirm still coming only to be told it was 1pm-5pm. So I waited until 4.30pm and still no sign of them. I then called them and was told it would be after 6pm now but it would be best to reschedule now. So disappointed in the service, was waiting all day wasted a day waiting around. No customer service skills, no communication skills, no time management skills so avoid using this company. Useless.

DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. A family member passed recently leaving my parents distraught, with Covid-19 going on and everyone abit down. I thought it’d be nice to buy them a surprise present of putting their TV on the wall to make everything cleaner and easier to manage with my dad having alzheimers too. After checking this company's website out, it sounded professional and what we’re after with no hint of them being cowboy builders or messing the customers around. 5th December an engineer was arranged to come over. The guy was nice, overly confident and said he’s fitted 1000’s of TV’s like this before. So by this reckoning we shouldn't fear any surprise quotes, and no additional costs because he’s surveyed the area on what needs to be done for fitting the TV on the wall. On the spot he’s broken down all the associated costs and it’s £378 in total, in front of the family. Before going ahead we’ve asked if we could think about it for a couple of days before going ahead, he leaves us the company business card and we phone them two days later the following Monday/Tuesday to confirm we’d like to go ahead via voicemail. A couple of days passes and they re-call us confirm the booking for the 17th Dec. I ask personally for the final price again and it’s now £428 incl VAT, I told them we were quoted £378 on the day with all associated costs which should’ve included VAT and they tell us we’ll be booked in for the 17th Dec for now whilst they re-phone the engineer to get back to us regarding the £378 quote (They don’t). It’s now 16th December, a day before their arrival and they finally call back to confirm they’ll be arriving tomorrow. After asking, they still said it was £428 we explained the engineer gave us a quotation of £378, and we’ve been waiting for a call back regarding this. After hanging up they call back shortly and finally admitted after contacting the engineer that came to our house it was £378 and they’ll go ahead with it. Five minutes later they phone back and now re-quote us £178 saying it’s now a two man job and there would be more work. After getting their own quote wrong, they say sorry it’s £458, the quotes now gone up…. So now I’m wondering if the guy that came around has even done this before, if he can’t give us a final accurate quote or if the quotes changing like this with the now additional job of it being for 2 people not discussed at the time. The women on the phone kept talking over me rather than listening, but they didn't care.

Booked in twice for TV wall mounting, 'couldnt' give a quote over the phone. Twice waited in all day and no one turned up. Twice had to cancel as 'engineer unreachable' and not coming anymore. Major delays between contacting and availability. Contacted alternative company, price given straight away, booked in within 2 days, engineers turn up bright and early, excellent work. Regret not contacting the other company first and wasting my time with these!

Took the day off work to get my TV aerial fixed for Christmas and the engineer didn't turn up!!! Couldn't be more disappointed with the service I received from TV Aerial Specialist, I would recommend booking elsewhere!

Booked to have an appointment with an engineer on Saturday 16th nov. They rang the day before to confirm that engineer will be coming late morning/early afternoon time. I waited in all morning and heard nothing so I called the office who said they’ll find out what time the engineer was coming. I then had a call from the engineer saying he’ll be coming soon and he’d call me when he’s on his way. I waited for an additional 3 hours and heard nothing. I then called the engineer back on his mobile, which went straight to voicemail. I also called the main office which also went to voicemail. I’m assuming they closed and went home without letting me know. I therefore wasted my entire Saturday waiting for an engineer that had no intention of turning up. Extremely poor and unprofessional service.

My job took over three months to complete. The three engineers that visited were friendly but unfortunately the quality of work was shocking. The second engineer brought me a bunch of flowers to apologise for the state of the first engineers work. They have made a mess of my wall. The bracket they installed was not the right one so they adapted it by drilling a larger hole in it and when that didn’t work they just bent the bracket backwards to enable them to connect a cable. I had little to no communication from the company during the three months telling me the status of the job. I definitely would not recommend and would never use again.
