“So Far So Good. Booked our adventure to Jordan through travel local and Enjoy Jordan. The itinerary looks good, the process was easy and changes made with ease and patience on their part. We do not travel until 2020 so the final result is not known but every confidence that all will go well.”

“This is the second time I have used a local travel agency for a bucket list trip to a new continent and I am sold on the concept. With travellocal.com, you start with an agency from the UK that assesses your request and places you with a local agent that they have vetted. You then work with a local company that customizes your trip until you are satesfied. Couldn't have been better.”

“Using travellocal for our trip to Vietnam was awesome! The communication with our local travel operator worked so well and they made several changes to our itinerary when we asked them too. They also helped to come up with other ideas that we hadn't thought of. I was also pleasantly surprised at the price of the trip considering we really didn't have to organise much ourselves.”

“I think the concept is excellent and I couldn't have been happier with Sole, who pulled together our wonderful itinerary in Costa Rica. Sole took into account my disability when putting the activities together too. I also decided to book my flights and spoke to the UK Travel Local team who were lovely and made the process really simple. I'm yet to go on my trip, but for now I am delighted with the service and cannot wait! Thank you!”

“Home now from our recent TravelLocal-coordinated trip to China, we can only say what we said after our previous holidays booked through the company - they do a fantastic job, and we are really looking forward to our next adventure (Morocco by Rail, January 2020). We had such a good time, enjoying both the itinerary we planned together with their Chinese agents and the company of our various guides as we travelled around. All our internal travel (mostly by train) worked like clockwork and our hotels were all very well chosen. We really appreciated the attention paid to our requests for things we wanted to do - and not to do (no shopping!) in the planning stages, and the prompt responses to any correspondence. Once again - a big thank you to everyone involved, and a very firm endorsement to anyone thinking of a first-time venture with the company - Go for it. You will be so pleased you did.”

“So far a great service.....only booked and paid deposit so not actually been on the holiday yet. Have dealt more with Story of India who I believe Travel Local use for holidays to India. They have been amazing too and would definitely use them again Very quick to respond to queries and questions....Travel Local AND Story of India. Let’s hope it continues. Lynn Tailford”

“We visited Vietnam and Cambodia in March. Our second time travelling with travel local. Once again they did not disappoint we gave India trip 5 stars and now the same for Vietnam and Cambodia. The main thing for us was that we never had any point where we were concerned ,all drivers and guides waiting to meet us at every different point .We won't hesitate to use them again .”

“We started to look at TravelLocal because rave reviews from people that we met in Spain who had just travelled in Morocco with the company. We then contacted TL ourselves and were not disappointed. Everybody we dealt with were helpful,responsive,open and friendly. I would recommend TL if you have limited time,uneasy about navigating around a certain country and want to make sure you see everything that is important to you. The guide and drivers were excellent and the local guides knew everything and seemingly everybody. The accomodations that were chosen for us were all oh high quality. Every problem found a satisfactory solution. Would I use |TravelLocal again? We have already booked a trip to Jordan for next February. There is still room available.”

“Very refreshing to have a completely personalised service. After our initial enquiry, the local agent got in touch with a draft itinerary which had some really unique and interesting suggestions. We asked him to tweak it a bit to bring the cost down and he reverted the next day with an amended itinerary that met all our requirements. Can't wait to go on the holiday now!”

“We were planning a trip to Costa Rica and decided to use a company based in uk but using a local company in the country to liaise with. We were taiking to Sole from Ecole Travel. She couldn't have been more helpful and altered things to suit. I can thoroughly recommend both companies and will use Travellocal again.”

“Looking to book a safari holiday felt a bit of a minefield and the brochures from the high street company's weren't quite feeling right. Very pleased I found Travel Local-we now have an itinerary we are really excited about, that fits us, has been designed with us, to fit our wants and ideas and is a little different to the standard 'off the shelf'. I feel confident that the accommodation and activities will be as described and very happy that its all been booked with our preference to environmental and animal welfare. We were able to make as many changes as we wanted until it was right with patient answers to my many questions. I never felt under any pressure to book or make a decision. At this point I have been recommending them to everyone I speak to. If our holiday goes as planned we will be returning to book other countries as this is what I have been wanting from travel for a long time-something that suits me rather than a mass market.”

“I've just organised our first trip with travellocal.com and it's been a breeze. It's reassuring to be in contact with the team on the ground who will be looking after us. They have been super efficient and helpful in organising our itinerary at relatively short notice and will be sorting out our visa on arrival. It's also good to know that more of the money we are spending is going into the local economy and we are getting a better deal too!”

“I had wanted to book a holiday in Jordan that used locally owned businesses and hotels as much as possible. Travellocal put me in touch with a great loval agency who organised everything efficiently, taking all our concerns into account, and making sure all the formalities were completed quickly and easily.
