I was excited to do this course. Unfortunately it was not as I expected and had many problems: 1. Each slide was read by a computerised voice which led to inappropriate pronunciation of words - there was no elaboration on the slides during the audio. I found the computerised voice distracting so tried to mute the sound on my lap top only for the video to pause until the volume was increased. 2. Much of the information is incorrect including the weighing of babies which in the UK is done in kg not lbs as stated and has been for many years. 3. Safeguarding is repeated in 3 modules and each of them are not entirely correct. In one set of slides it states signs of neglect include cigarette burns, scratches, bruises....... - this is physical abuse. It also mentions masturbation as a sign of 'shaking' this is a sign of sexual abuse. 4. On completing the end of topic questions some were not accepted as correct initially, on the mock exam all but the last word of a question was missing. 5. Inappropriate use of photos on slides - one in the safeguarding section used a picture of a child with a skin condition when discussing signs of abuse. 6. My course was supposed to include a certificate but I had to pay extra (I have contacted Training Express re this and will update)

This company took a payment from an expired card with no warning. They cannot be negotiated with. I feel ripped off by them.

Passed my course with 100% but never took a test. My employer would not recognise the qualification. Complete waste of money.

The fire training course was terrible - answers which were correct being marked wrong, answers missing from questions and when taking the quiz for one of the modules and getting 10 out of 10 correct was informed that I had failed.... I did get in touch with them to point out all the errors and they eventually fixed them... but this should have been checked before putting this course on line ... wasted a lot of time

I completed the Sports Nutrition course, which had absolutely nothing to do with Sports Nutrition. It was a general nutrition course, without any reference to how athletes should handle their nutrition, which is not what I signed up for. Waste of money, unless you want to know about general nutrition then it is informative. Also, you use text to speech voice over instead of an actual person, so many words were mispronounced or spelled out because the software did not recognize the word. Not very professional. Finally, you charge for the digital copy of the transcript, which I purchased as it seemed to have the CPD hours conducted on it and 'shockingly', I bought it and it DOES NOT have the CPD hours on it. More wasted money. I will not be doing another course with Training Express, I am glad I got this on a deal, which they always seem to be on. I wonder why?

SCAM....do not use this company. They will lie about sending you certificate. I have paid for a certificate and they said they have sent this out but they haven't. They just vanish once you pay for the course and certificate. DO NOT USE

I completed my course and month ago and ordered my certificates. They have not arrived. I have paid money and called repeatedly, sent emails, voicemails and spoken to a robot on customer service. I have been lied to over and over that they have sent the certificates which they have not. This is a scam. Also they keep responding to bad reviews with "we are heartbroken...we don't usually get complaints like this" which is nonsense. Or they pretend to not have you as their customer and pretend they've sent you help when they haven't. Liars. I'll be reporting them to ombudsman.

TLDR: Really not worth the time or money. Bought a few online courses knowing that have little recognition etc (something that everyone should be aware of). Most content was produced by and for other institutions and is seriously outdated or straight out laughable (such as in the case of the Social Media Manager). Besides the obvious mixed up unit order in some courses it is obvious that they do not even bother carefully listen to the content they host. Downloadable material referenced in modules is not available (most likely because the course was uploaded without anyone bothering checking that there is supplementary material in the original source). Getting certificates is a hustle on its own. I had to contact the company for 2/3 certificates. This and an extra communication to get access to a course four days after they should have sent me an email with the login details on their own (as advised), felt like chasing them up constantly for processes that are automated. But the absolute worst was the communication overall. Stacks of emails and notifications and usually for naught. The people on the live chat where trying usually to be helpful but in some cases were clueless to, constantly coming up with excuses. The absolute gem was pointing out the subject of my query to one of them to tell me that what I was talking about is not in the module, demonstrating an outstanding audacity and lack of diligence.

So far I have nothing to review. Not able to start my course, just get a message saying login details will be sent to me. It's been a few days now and nothing. I'm beginning to wonder if this is a scam site??

HORRIBLE customer service! I had to remind them EVERY time to send me my certificates. To the point that I had to leave the country for some moths and I explained that I needed my last certifcate BEFORE the trip since they were already way past their due date. It never made it on time they promised to ship it aboard ..which they didn't and in the end they STOPPED answering emails. Not the best way to treat paying customers!

I am very disappointed that this site offers immediate access to an e certificate immediately after the course finishes. This doesn't happen and when they say a hard copy of the certificate will be 3 or 4 pounds, they really mean 13 or 14 with a delivery charge of 3 or 4 on top. i have now lost access to the certificate for the course i did weeks ago because i have submitted another completed course. if you try to copy your certificate anywhere, they take the name off of it. Hidden charges should not be anywhere anymore. shocking. ill find a better site now.

We have fixed that download issue and now you can download your e-certificate from your account. All of our certification costs are mentioned on each of our course pages "Once you’ve successfully completed your course, you will immediately be sent a digital certificate. Also, you can have your printed certificate delivered by post (shipping cost £3.99)". If you wish to take the transcript then you have to pay an additional cost.
