“the slides are well presented from what I have seen so far but I have a few observations so far. Firstly the slides are not very diverse and could subconsciously convince the learner that abuse does not happen in their culture. secondly, module 5 is a repeat of an earlier module but using a female voice over instead of a male. The single assessment states it is 48 days but I believe it is 45 and finally, FGM mentions the removal of female genitalia, but should it specify the external genitalia?”

“Amending original review - Sports Nutrition Course. Training Express immediately contact me to express their apologies over the course I have subscribed to not meeting the expectation of the title and are looking into the course to correct this. I was offered a free course as compensation, which I am doing. I appreciated their swift response and thus, have amended my view of Training Express itself, which is why I have increased my rating to 3 out of 5 stars. However, I could not give a higher grade as the course initially failed to meet expectations. I hope the new course will prove better!”

“Very in-depth course at a reasonable price. If you are in a hurry, I would try somewhere else though. Takes over 48 hours to get access to the course after payment, and the so called free "instant digital certificate" takes more than 24 hours, if you request it repeatedly. After emailing asking for the certificate, I was told I would have it in the next 30 minutes.... that was yesterday!”

“I 'gifted' some first aid training for school staff so they could up-skill themselves to enhance cover at school during the Covi-19 school openings. I was very surprised to find they had to pay £3.99 at the end of the training to get a digital certificate. This extra cost information wasn't obvious to me on the site when I bought the product. One teacher had no credit card on her today so I used mine to enable her to get her digital certificate. When the certificate arrived it was in my name and not hers, even though she had done the training I'd gifted it to her. I strongly feel that this additional payment should be made very clear to busy people working in hard times! The fact that my teacher's certificate has my name on it, now makes it a little pointless in terms of proof of completion. I am told the actual training is good quality but this has taken the shine off what looked a great product, hence the acceptable review.”

All of our certification costs are mentioned on each of our course pages "Once you’ve successfully completed your course, you will immediately be sent a digital certificate. Also, you can have your printed certificate delivered by post (shipping cost £3.99)". There is no other hidden cost. You had paid for the additional transcript you have chosen to take. “Signing up for courses was easy, but assigning them to others wasn't clear at purchase so I made a mistake! Have been waiting a while for a response to resolve the issue so cannot comment on how my colleagues are finding their online training.”

“Hi. There looks to be a good range of training and you can purchase the training easily. I was however trying to purchase for other people and I wanted to assign that training to others which doesn’t seem that easy in comparison to other websites where you get separate log in codes etc. Maybe I’ve missed something though. Online support said to email and they would reassign courses to different email addresses but as yet I’m waiting for this to happen. Thank you.”

“Paediatric course was ok but some of it was out of date, for example burns should be cooled for 20mins and not 10. AEDs can be used by anyone and you don't need training to use them. The other thing I found odd was frostbite was on the course. I teach outdoor first aid and it would definitely be more relevant there than on a paediatric course”
