The teacher was very good. I did a first aid training course 3 years ago with a different company, and this one was a lot better. Everything was explained very well, and the practical's made me feel more confident about having to do first aid in real life. Thank you

I learnt a lot in a short period of time. There is obviously so much more to learn but Billy kept it relevant, entertaining and interesting. Thank you

The course was well structured and had different tasks to break up the learning process plus you had plenty of time to start the assignments, I actually managed to complete all of mine in the three day period so it was much better for me than studying at a college for 12 weeks due to my busy schedule. I would definitely recommend train aid for this course as they made it simple to learn and also the feedback from the micro teach was very in depth which allows you to develop your skills. I would recommend instead of an e-learning program as you get to interact with people from different walks of life and it is really helpful doing the microteach to a group as that is part of becoming a trainer/teacher. The group was small, only four people, so you get a good level of individual support too.

The training itself was good. Steve did well to cover the material in two days. He kept us all engaged with the teaching by mixing up the teaching styles - question and answers, small group discussions, mini-presentations to the rest of the group. I think it would help to have a check list of what is required to complete the course at the application stage and at the start of the course. Maybe this was covered but there was so much info to take in that I know I wasn't clear that we needed to do 3 assignments until the second day (I thought there were just 2). You didn't do very well in signposting where the training was being held. I arrived at the venue and walked around for a few minutes trying to work out how to get in. You needed to have a sign outside at least so we knew where to go. I think some tea & coffee in the training room (plus some biscuits maybe) at the start would have been good too as it would have made the atmosphere more welcoming. I personally wouldn't use those rooms for training. They are too long and narrow which was not great for interaction. The room we used the first day was too cold and the door buzzer went off occasionally, so it wasn't easy to concentrate.

The course was delivered at a good understandable pace. The trainer was very helpful and enthusiatic. He was willing to provide additional support to those who needed it while being able to keep the rest of us engaged throughout the course.

Would recommend loved the fact we had the opportunity to study book at home and then carry out practical while on course

Our's was a one day course so we galloped through the First Aid topic. I'm happy but perhaps wished I'd booked a longer course.

The course material was very clear, the practical part was done very well and I feel confident I can do this now.

It was a very condusive environment, I enjoyed the close and concertrated impartation of information. I am grateful to have chosen this mode of training as I will always cherish that moment. I am willing to come back for level four and five should you start offering it.

Good basic course covering all that was needed. I was refreshing my skills so held previous knowledge however if I had been new to first aid I think I would have liked the teacher to have more information relating to childhood accidents and statistics about the benefits of administering first aid rapidly.
