This was my second purchase from Trade Paint Direct, however I shall not be ordering from them again. Simplicity of ordering and a speedy delivery time was met with the disappointment of a heavily dented tin, which was damaged in several places to its surround and to one flange, the supply cost of which had been over £30. Looking at feedback left by other customers, it is clear that others have experienced damaged cans being delivered to them. My circumstances meant that the contents, a restorative oil, had to be accessed and partially used to meet the timeframe of a pre booked estate agent's photographer. Returning the can would have been at some postage cost to me, which would have had to be recovered from TPD and in addition caused me an untenable delay. Notwithstanding, I sent photographs of the damaged can and packaging to TPD upon discovery and was only offered 10% off a future order. I proposed a partial refund, which was rejected. As a retired chartered property professional, I find this online business's response somewhat surprising and short-sighted.

Can arrived battered and dented. Since the packaging wasn't damaged, it was obviously put in like that. Disappointed.

Can delivered all dinted and fortunately not leaking. It would have helped if it had been packaged better with some protection around the can.

Still awaiting my purchase? Still at Elvi sorting office, can you chase it up ? All was very straightforward when ordering, cannot give more than 2 stars until I receive it?

Its not great when you order something with no clue when it will be delivered. After chasing with calls and emails my Friday lunchtime. order was processed monday afternoon, for delivery Wednesday. Thankfully delivery wasnt delayed.

Ordered some apparently in-stock woodstain on the 6th Aug. After much chasing was finally delivered on the 30th August. I had to constantly chase them. Giving them a 2 star because at least when I did email to chase, they responded quickly, even if it was just to say "we're hoping it will come in on tomorrow's delivery.

Paid £7.50 carriage and still waiting for delivery. Evri are NOT a premium carrier. Don't think I will be using again.

Paint arrived promptly after ordering. One of the two cans was significantly dented but not pierced. Either the can was dispatched like this, or damaged in transit and if so then the packaging needs improving.

Disappointing. It's the first time I’ve ordered with Trade Paint Direct. Both tins of paint orders arrived the next day, but only very thin cardboard protected them in transit, leading to them being badly damaged. I'm amazed they didn’t leak. As this was a trial order, and I was considering switching suppliers, I would rather pay a little more and have undamaged goods. Shame

Not great - the paint took ages to ship.. as such I had to order from a different supplier. I contacted before it was shipped to cancel the order, it was shipped anyway and now they're telling me I can't return it as it was mixed to order, which I wasn't told prior to ordering.

Placed an order last weekend needed floor paint for work. Not heard anything since. Suggested I download the app called Shop which wasn’t any use either. Wouldn’t use again.

I have to say Trade Paint Direct didn't meet my expectations.To me,the main problem was that TPD target a fast delivery date (3 days).If ,for whatever reason, this does not happen, there is no support communication to keep me updated. Sometimes clients of TPD will want( as I did) a rapid service, Please bear that in mind

I tried this product on plastic rear mudguard extensions.I followed the instructions and unfortunately it didn't work for me, looked very wet and shiny on application and after leaving it half an hour it looked no different to the original state after using a lint free cloth on it,as it basically just brought all the product off again. This is the product I'm rating not the company

Having repeatedly bought paint from you and not encountered any problems with orders, it was extremely disappointing that I paid you £213.70 on 11th October and that neither I nor the painter, Mr. Worley, heard anything from you until 9th November. With no explanation or apology, just a pro forma ‘shipping update’. Update? And still no date for delivery.

Unfortunately not a good review as we have just received our delivery of Owatrol Decking Paint and Trade Paint Direct has despatched the WRONG COLOUR. As our decking areas are already painted with Owatrol BARK BROWN, this was the colour we wanted and the colour we ordered and the colour quoted on all our paperwork from Trade Paint Direct, however, we have just taken delivery of Owatrol DARK BROWN. Maybe an easy mistake to make but not acceptable to us, particularly as we have a Tradesman coming next week to do this work. We are now hopeful that Trade Paints Direct can quickly remedy their error, however when telephoning their Sales Team, a recorded message merely asked to send an e-mail or leave a message. We would have liked someone to pick up the telephone and speak to us. Meryl Nicholls
