I thought I'd give Trade Paints Direct a go as they seemed to be offering the best price for the paints I wanted, particularly with a discount code which when entered going through checkout had made a reduction. However, when it came to finalising payment the full price without the reduction was payable. At this stage I thought, oh well, I'll go ahead to save me placing another order with another online supplier only to find 1 of the paint quantities had been altered to a reduced quantity (2.5 ltrs instead of 5 ltrs). I emailed them to point out the error. They then emailed back saying they didn't have 2 the larger paint quantities on my order in stock and they were charging me for the error on their system ? Therefore, they couldn't really complete most of my order. I emailed them back straight away (this seems to be the only way to communicate)to say not worry please could I just have a refund for my entire order only to be told that they have already mixed the remaining paint on my order and that they were charging me for this ? Surely, having realised they couldn't supply most of my order you would have thought they'd communicate that first and let you know so you could make a decision ? Not the sort of people I like doing business with, suffice to say I won't be coming back to Trade Paints Direct. Avoid !

Been waiting 6 days for delivery of an order. Hermes are hopeless, why anybody uses them is beyond me.

I didn’t hear anything for six days so chased them up with many messages & emails. They finally replied that there had been a delay at the supplier but it was on its way. It wasn’t and didn’t arrive for another 6 days! Will not use them again.

Placed order Friday 8th October and paid £213.42. It is now 12th October and still have not received any delivery details or a proposed delivery date or any correspondence other than an invoice at time of order.

Ordered on the 2nd of September finally received package today 13th of September @5-45 and that’s after paying extra for delivery find this unacceptable and will not be using your company again. I suggest you find a different courier who can give you a better service

Was told 5 days for delivery it is now 10 days still not received paint.

No idea when product will arrive - could do a lot better at managing customer expectations around delivery time.

Unfortunatley I'm not impressed. The tracking system did not function correctly so I missed delivery. Collected it myself from Royal mail depot and when opened I found can has 2 hefty dents in it. Packaging perfect so item was obviously picked by Trade Paint Direct knowing was damaged. I guess we live and learn.

Purchased on Friday 19 February 2021, still not delivered on Tuesday 2 March 2021. There was no communication about backdated stock or late delivery, I had to request an update. Average delivery in 3 days is stated on their website, not I’m my case!

Product damaged on arrival (tin dented), advised company by email immediately of disappointment in having to accept damaged goods, but to date no response.

My first order arrived two days later, excellent thought I. Placed a further order early June, still waiting....and waiting. I understand that there are supply and demand issues for everyone at the moment. However I would communicate with my customers and let them know what is going on as a matter of professional courtesy. Clearly you have no need or wish for my custom, or recommendation.

Not impressed I ordered 4 cans of bedec paint and it took 3 weeks for them to send them I realize things take longer at the moment but when they delivered there were only two cans I emailed to say only two had been delivered and they said they would look into it I didn’t here anything so emailed again they said dhl had scanned them but not delivered both boxes and they would let me know when they hear from dhl three days later still not heard a thing Would not buy from here again

Prices were reasonable, but the complete lack of information about the delayed delivery and the failure to respond to emails trying to chase the delivery, were unacceptable.
