I thought I'd give Trade Paints Direct a go as they seemed to be offering the best price for the paints I wanted, particularly with a discount code which when entered going through checkout had made a reduction. However, when it came to finalising payment the full price without the reduction was payable. At this stage I thought, oh well, I'll go ahead to save me placing another order with another online supplier only to find 1 of the paint quantities had been altered to a reduced quantity (2.5 ltrs instead of 5 ltrs). I emailed them to point out the error. They then emailed back saying they didn't have 2 the larger paint quantities on my order in stock and they were charging me for the error on their system ? Therefore, they couldn't really complete most of my order. I emailed them back straight away (this seems to be the only way to communicate)to say not worry please could I just have a refund for my entire order only to be told that they have already mixed the remaining paint on my order and that they were charging me for this ? Surely, having realised they couldn't supply most of my order you would have thought they'd communicate that first and let you know so you could make a decision ? Not the sort of people I like doing business with, suffice to say I won't be coming back to Trade Paints Direct. Avoid !
