We only offer alternatives to speed up the shipping process as very occasionally we are out of stock. You are of course always welcome to decline the alternative and wait on the original items.
You can also send back any unwanted items for free for a refund.

“I ordered a pair of quite expensive brass parliament hinges to allow a single French door to open fully back against a windowsill in a conservatory. They arrived quickly and I started to remove the old hinges. It was then I realised my stupidity as I had inexplicably missed that each door needed three hinges. I rang tradefit yesterday and spoke with Callie. Having described myself as a new moronic customer she went out of her way to help. I asked if they sold hinges in "threes". Some they do but not my model. Do they sell singles? "No, but let me check if we have any returns..." I said I would be happy to pay more than half for a single. On return she said there where no returns but she had talked to a colleague and proposed a solution. I won't say what it was to avoid a precedent being set for tradefit but it was brilliant.
