“Bought some twin slot brackets to add to the ones I bought from tradefit a couple of months ago. Unfortunately they're now supplying a different bracket that is much harder to fit to the uprights and as a result they didn't work for what I needed, because the bracket has to be inserted at a very wide angle whereas I was fitting shelves under a sloping ceiling.
The old brackets went in at a much shallower angle and were therefore considerably easier to fit. I'm not sure why the change.”

Your previous order for these was cancelled with us and so I assume you purchased them elsewhere which is why they are not compatible with our brackets.

Thanks for your feedback, firstly I am glad to hear the product was suitable and as advertised.
Apologies there was a one day delay with delivery, I can see you ordered on Thursday and your goods should have arrived Friday rather than Saturday. We do work really hard with our couriers to ensure deliveries happen on time and 98% of the time they do.

“Ordered 7 x 300mm trickle vents and 1 x 400mm tickle vent. Got an email back confirming order. Items delivered the next day - 8 x 300mm vents.
Emailed Tradefit, they apologised and said the correct vent would be delivered next day. Later that day had a phone call to say they didn’t have stock so it would be within 3~4 working days before I received it. The correct vent was delivered and I went to site to fit, this part was broken………….
First time using Tradefit - the jury is out on whether I use them again. So disappointing”

We only offer alternatives to speed up the shipping process as very occasionally we are out of stock. You are of course always welcome to decline the alternative and wait on the original items.

“Misleading delivery information several times when their supplier was late delivering to their warehouse.
Original delivery was due on a Tuesday, parts arrived to warehouse Friday midday but Saturday delivery could not be guaranteed. Had 68mile round trip to collect and still not received the promised delivery cost refund.

I am sorry to read your review, I have tried to call you to explain but there was no answer.
As you had in fact ordered after our 5pm cut off on Thursday, your delivery was in fact due on Monday when Royal Mail delivered and therefore was not late I am afraid.
The £4.95 delivery charge is on all orders under £30 and we offer next working day if placed before 5pm, apologies for any confusion.

“I ordered eight flush fit hinges that were a good price and arrived quickly. But unfortunately the hinges were mostly useless.
They basically didn’t hinge! The central pin was secured too tightly, resulting in the hinges being stuck fast.
The hinges were also tarnished on arrival. This was cleaned off with WD40 while trying to unstick the hinges.
On the positive side, the customer service was first class. No problems or quibbles on a refund. As a result I’d have no hesitation buying again from this supplier, but in all honesty I can’t give any more than a two star review.”

“The London brackets that I bought which were advertised to hold 27kg were so flimsy that they would be lucky to hold 10kg. You can easily bend them and with 5 of them on a 100cm shelf, it still flexed. The Homebase version of this bracket is about 10 times stronger.”

I am so sorry to read your review, I have not had this feedback before regarding these brackets however whilst the weight limit is an indication please note consideration should be given to wall structure, fixing type, distance between brackets and weight displacement as this will affect the overall shelf weight capacity.
These brackets are also our budget/medium duty range and we do stock much stronger ones. You are more than welcome to send them back for a refund and I will investigate to ensure there is no quality issue.

“100mm x 40mm internal door handles purchased; however the size is incorrect. The handles are shorter! Not great. False advertising. Can't be bothered to return as it would cost more in postage. Will order from a reputable company. Cheaper isn't always the best as is the case here. Not impressed.”

DX currently handle our longer-length products and in general, provide a good service level (to businesses and consumers) but clearly, in this case, this was not so.

“Doorstop was delivered prompted, and a nice little bag of sweets inside. However the door stop itself had this weird bit of plastic which points down seemingly in to the floor. no explanation of how the product is meant to work - do you cut the plastic bit off? Do you drill a hole for the pointy plastic bit. Haven't yet fitted them as can't work it out.”

Thanks for your message. Apologies for the delay in responding to this. We apologise that the product and fitting information was not clear in this instance.
For this product, you will need to drill 2 fixing holes. One for the screw fixing and the other for the rubber piece. This will stop the product from rotating when in place.
