“Our Consignment 31274500029266 was delivered by UKMail - in a very condition - the box [which we have NOT opened] was dumped by the front door with a good deal of the CUPRINOL contents of at least one of the two ordered items leaked out. There was no note of explanation , no apology, just a mess for us to clear up. The parcel had a red arrow showing the it should be upright - it was lying on its side gently leaking. Not much not an advert for UKMAIL The 'consignment' is now in a black bag - unopened as far as a damaged parcel can be - awaiting your further instructions. I DO NOT WANT A REPLACEMENT thank you. PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIPT -”

“Product arrived quickly, however they were never available to answer the phone when I needed to get in touch about a problem, and after I did manage to get through and speak to someone about the issue, it wasn't resolved. Haven't been able to get through to them on the phone since.”

“Ordered pm on Tuesday. Confirmed that delivery would be 2 working days, with email when dispatched. No email received, delivered on the Friday. Website says office open from 8.30 am but when queried I was told that that was incorrect. Why not update your website?”

“I ordered a Dickie's olive splitting tool which turned out to be a quality product at a very good price. However, I ordered it online on a Wednesday evening and paid extra for a two working day delivery (I needed it on the Friday) but it was delivered Monday morning.....so I did the job without it!”

“Paid for next day delivery ,stayed in all day waiting however it never arrived . Contacted customer service via email ...No response ! Item arrived next day and had to arrange for someone to be at home to accept delivery . Would I order again ? ...No No complaints with the product and price of the item ...P&P expensive and don't deliver next day !”

“The tools were meant to be delivered Tuesday they came Thursday. And i paid £6 more for delivery. and one of the levels has a mark on it already. I know it will get marks on it later but hey ho.”

“item out of stock emailed to notify me it would be available in 6-7 days no further contact from trade tool shop . I had to telephone them a couple of times arrived approx. 2 weeks after ordering .”

“The ordering process was good and email delivery details were sent, but didn't arrive until after my package was received. I was disappointed that the Irwin Record vice I received was not made in Sheffield like the one shown in the listing which has 'Made in Sheffield England' clearly cast into the body of the vice. Research indicates that the place of manufacture was in fact China, just what I was hoping to avoid by buying an item seemingly made in Sheffield. This is very misleading in my view. Having said the above, the vice does seem solid and was good value for money. The above is a comment rather than a complaint, I have no doubt at all that the Trade Tool Shop is a reputable seller and that the circumstances described are no more than an oversight. I note that at least one complaint regarding this same item has been directed to Amazon for exactly the same reason. So I will be quite happy to shop with the Trade Tool Shop again.”

“Im a carpet fitter by trade and needed a good pair of knee guards which didnt have a plastic front as they leave a non-permanent indent on the carpet Only had these a few weeks and found them comfortable to work with and easily adjustable would recommend to other carpet fitters”

“Disappointed - I think the product description should make it clearer that the reach of 3.5 at full extension INCLUDES YOUR ARMS!!!! The pole itself if a FIXED 1.61m - not what I was expecting. It appears fairly well made, although not especially strong - time will tell if it can cope with more than a light trim.”

“Happy with the price and the item supplied. However I paid for next working day delivery which cost just under £7, but the item didn't turn up until 2 working days after ordering. Ordered B/H Monday item turned up mid pm Thursday.”

“Products very good value, but note that the description of the grit sizes is wrong . It should be 300/1000, not 325/750. this has been copied from the Faithfull website which is incorrect too. Delivery by Interlink was not to my address and the signature obtained is unknown to me. However the package was left on my doorstep the next day; so all's well now.”

“no issues with order or goods. had to call to confirm delivery status as online info just advised 'processing' 2 days later. emails were then received to confirm goods despatched & when delivery due.”

“The delivery was prompt, online payment was uncomplicated. However, packaging of the item purchased (an Irwin Rebate Plane) left much to be desired. It was contained in the standard retail box with no "courier proof" padding. This in turn was held in just a thin plastic courier envelope style bag. Not much protection against impact and the battered state of the box reflected this. Luckily the plane itself was undamaged.”
