“Couldn't have gone smoother. Best price from numerouse quotes we had. Clear explanations of what was the best install, even reccomeding not to install a battery yet. I researched in the background and everything tied up. The other companies made it too complicated and Simon kept it straight and clear. Communication was excellent from start to finish. The install was great and boththescaffoldsrs and the PV installers we brilliant too. Nothing was too much trouble. Have already passed on thier details to friends.”

“Very impressed with TCL Solar. Was cautious to begin with but found Simon's suggestions to be better than his competition and the whole process of preparation, delivery and installation worked very well. Both the scaffolding team and the actual installation team worked very competently, efficiently and cleanly. Would definitely recommend.”

“Began thinking 🤔 of solar energy around the end of 2021. Initially I thought of just a battery system, but soon decided to look for a comprehensive package of solar and battery. After a little research, I was contacted by a handful of companies. 3 of them only gave over the phone quotes without a visit. I quickly dismissed them from my search. The first of the 2 companies that visited came with lots of shiny brochures plus lots of detail. After quoting me I said I must wait until the 2nd visit for my decision. Before the second company visit (TCL), I was phoned by the first trying to push me into a quick decision by saying “ the price of batteries where rising and the government may up the VAT from 5% to 20%. When Simon from TCL Solar visited, he was polite and not pushy. He quickly asked for my requirements and listed what I needed and quoted me there and then. I told him as Christmas was upon us I would give him my answer early January 22. After receiving the quote I decided to go ahead with the install. The goods arrived 2 days before the install as notified. The 3 lads turned up on time, introduced themselves and began the install. They also took the time to explain their work and how it would all fit. They all worked tirelessly and professionally at all times only having tea a couple of times. The were clean and tidy at all times without any damage to property. When they finished, all rubbish was taken away leaving the area clean. The system is now up and running. I can thoroughly recommend TCL Solar to anyone thinking of installing a solar system. Denis McLean Kettering.”

“It’s difficult to add anything more positive than what’s already been stated by many reviewers of all ages and backgrounds. TCL we’re my fourth quote and one of only two companies that actually came out to visit our premises. Simon is a very polite and helpful guy, who has an excellent team behind him. I spoke with David, Simon’s brother over the phone and again excellent interaction. No pressure selling, honest advice and coincidentally they were the best price with the best quality of components fitted. Christian answered by tech questions clearly and accurately which helped me select my system that Simon recommended. What was really reassuring was that all the team were available on the phone rather than some faceless call centre who doesn’t have a clue who you are or what your needs are. The fitting by Liam and Stuart was first class, everything was discussed prior to installation, which was very neat, clean, and all the rubbish was taken away leaving a tidy site. Liam set up my system and explained the app and login to the online system after installation. I have already recommended TCL to my family and friends. They’re a great team.”

“From the first contact following the request for a quote, Simon and the team have been a pleasure to deal with. The quote was similar to another that we had but as this is a small, local family business we decided to go with TCL and haven’t been disappointed. Simon kept us up to date on everything from when the components would be delivered, when the scaffolding was going to be put up and taken down and when the installation would be. Stuart, Liam and Callum (?) were all very professional and polite, they were here early morning and everything installed and working by 1.30 - brilliant. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, in fact we already have!”

“From the first introduction (a colleagues say so) Simon made it a very easy process and decision to make. As you can imagine, it is a large outlay, however, as Simon said “you are buying energy up front” and with the increasing electricity prices, it was a no brainier. From placing the order Simon kept us up to date with when the panels will arrive, scaffold would be erected and installers on site which was to the letter. The install was very swift and they ensured we understood what they had done. They left the property clean and tidy and the scaffold was then removed the day later. All in all a very pleasurable process and one we would gladly recommend”

“Excellent pre-purchase support. I took my time over making a decision, obtaining quotes from several companies. During this time I had many questions and changes of mind of what I wanted. TCL Solar (Simon) were very helpful in providing answers and advise but at no time pressuring me into making a choice. The installation was professionally done and I'm very happy with the result.”

“An excellent company. We used TCL Solar as they had been recommended by a family member and they were a small local company. From first contacting them, the service was fast, efficient and friendly and went according to plan. The fitters were amazing, completing the work in 5 hours and leaving everywhere clean. Christian was also very good with us, 2 pensioners, explaining how it works and helping us install apps on our phones, so we can watch how much electricity we are generating. Thank you.”

“From the start of our enquiry TCL Solar have been a pleasure to deal with. There was no hard sell at the survey, just a price and any questions answered. Once we decided to go ahead we had an install date given and any further questions were promptly answered in the meantime. The kit arrived as arranged and the install crew two days later. As soon as they arrived they set to work and our installation rapidly took shape . They were very polite and professional and once the install was completed they went through it all with us. We've only had it a few days, just before the shortest day of the year and we can already notice a difference in our grid consumption . I would happily recommend TCL Solar to anyone and will use them again should we decide to expand our system”

“From the word go we were very happy with TCL Solar, from the rapid response to our initial enquiry to the no hard sell approach, just a "this is the price and this is what you can expect" feed of information. Once decided upon the install was booked and everything proceeded as planned . Any questions at any time were answered pre install. The crew turned up at the proposed time and proceeded to rapidly install all the kit and then run through everything with us. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and will call upon them if we wish to expand our set up in the future.”

“With the continuing rise in energy prices, we decided that we ought to invest in solar PV. We had several companies quote, with varying prices. TCL were not the cheapest, but a long way from the dearest. Right from the outset they were great to deal with. It's nice that they are a local company to us as well. Simon was very thorough when he came to do our quote, explaining every detail that we needed to know. The fitters, Christian and Stuart, were very professional too, leaving a very neat job and fully explaining the workings of the system. We would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for solar systems.”

“TLC (Simon and David) were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Always polite, returns calls speedily. Made sure we were ordering the right panels etc for our needs. Had checked out various other companies but these were by far the best. Can't recommend them enough. Their support team of electrians were amazing just got on with the job in hand no sitting around on phones etc. Quick and clean. 5* service”
