“I could not be happier with the working practices of TCL Solar. From the erection of the scaffold to the installation of the solar panels. And the after sales Service. All work was done with precision and care. Such Nice people, I have no complaints at all. And happy to endorse them to anyone.”

“I recently had a solar and battery system installed by TCL Solar. From the initial survey to the final paperwork, I received excellent customer service. Simon carried out the initial survey, I appreciated his straightforward approach. There were no false promises, just clear information that helped me make my decision. It was nice to deal with someone so transparent. The installation itself was carried out by Matt, Jack, and Josh, who were all fantastic. They were neat and tidy, ensuring everything was installed to a high standard. The team were polite and respectful throughout the installation, making everything stress-free. David oversaw the install from start to finish. His guidance was invaluable, especially when it came to applying for the SEG application to Octopus. He made what could have been a complicated process very easy. I highly recommend TCL to anyone considering a solar system.”

“I saw a few solar companies from local to national. We decided to use TCL Solar as we felt comfortable and confident in their approach. Simon came to see us for the survey and we were very impressed, he designed a system that would cover our needs, plus if we have any future add ons like an electric car. Matt & Jack were the installation team and did such a great job, keeping us updated on the progress. I always worry about trades people but the team were so neat and tidy. After the installation was finished, Matt showed us how to use the solar app. We have been so well looked after. If you’re looking for solar, I urge you to use Simon & David at TCL Solar.”

“Highest quality The minute I met TCL I felt comfortable this was after some other companies and their high pressure sales tactics. The price I paid was very competitive. Communication has been excellent and both brothers so helpful. The scaffolding company used were brilliant and the two lads that fitted our solars and done the electrics were again fantastic. I give TCL five stars all day long.”

“I wanted to share my positive experience with TCL Solar, particularly with David, who went above and beyond to help me. Years ago, I had a solar system installed by a different company. Recently, I decided to switch my SEG provider. I contacted my original installer for help with the application process, but unfortunately, they were unhelpful and offered no assistance. I remembered that TCL Solar had installed a system at my daughter's house, and she had spoken highly of them. I contacted them, explaining my situation even though they hadn't installed my system. David offered to come to my house and help me with the application – at no charge whatsoever! He guided me through every step, ensuring all the paperwork was completed. TCL Solar, and David specifically, offered an exceptional level of customer service, especially for a system they didn't even install.”

“We saw 3 companies and in all honesty TCL Solar were the only company that I fully trusted. They always wanted what was best for us. Simon came out to see us and did the survey and advised us what we needed and just over three weeks later the installation happened. On the day Jack and Matt were absolutely fantastic, checking in on us and making sure we were happy at different points of the day. David emailed all the paperwork and we are now up and running with the Octopus SEG scheme. We are grateful to TCL Solar for making the whole process stress free. “Our neighbour recently had a solar energy solution installed and we were very impressed with the results. We discussed the installation with our neighbour who, like most reviews of TCL, could not have recommended them more highly. We subsequently requested a quote which we accepted. The installation date was agreed. The installation team arrived on time. They were courteous, friendly, tidy and efficient; the installation was completed in just one day. The installation team were everything one would hope for and we couldn’t have asked for more. Having said that, we discovered a small problem a few days later. We called TCL who arranged for an engineer to look into the problem. Matt, the engineer who installed the inverter etc, promptly arrived, found and rectified the problem. Once again we couldn’t be happier. TCL’s customer service is excellent. With the current wonderful weather we are now generating more than enough green energy to run our entire home and we are able to contribute excess energy directly to the grid and even get paid for it! We would highly recommend TCL Sarah and Noel Thurlow”

“A very professional service from start to finish. Simon explained the technology simply. The fitters Matt and Jack worked really well despite heavy rain and Matt explained how everything worked. They left the site clean and tidy. Our questions after installation were answered by David. Nothing was too much trouble. Price was very competitive and we would highly recommend TCL Solar.”

“Recommended by 2 neighbours. Price similar to 2 other companies, but we were impressed by their interest in what we needed. Installation was trouble free, and delivered on time. A few teething problems, which were fixed without hassle. Highly recommended.”

“What a great experience from our initial call with Simon to the after sales with David everything went as promised, fitting was completed in a day (20 panels) thanks Matt . TCL really are a credit to the solar industry and we would have no problem recommending them to anyone thinking of having solar panels fitted. Steve and Julie”

“Pleasure working with David & Simon, great communication throughout. They allowed me time to think about my options without any pressure. “It has been a lifetime ambition of mine to move to more sustainable energy and after several failed attempts with other companies, TCL were recommended to us by a neighbour. From the start, they were excellent, both Simon and David were knowledgeable and professional and there was no pressure-selling. They recommended a ten-panel system with GivEnergy 9.5kwH battery and inverter. The job was completed in two parts, because of a delay in the DNO sleeving our power cable, but their team (Jack and Matt) were diligent and very hard-working and the system was up and running by around 4 in the afternoon. The after-care has also been excellent, - we would certainly recommend TCL.”

“TCL Solar are such a great find. They are a honest family run business. In my search for solar, I saw six companies (far too many). Simon came out to see us and he just wanted what was best for us, not trying to over sell us anything unlike other companies we had seen. We placed our order and the installation happened 3 weeks later. David helped us with all the paperwork, including the SEG application. All in all, it was such a great experience to deal with the two brothers. If you are looking for solar, look no further than TCL Solar. We really felt looked after.”

“The guys did a great job from start to finish. Simon came to visit to give a quote rather than relying on Google maps like the competitors did. The guys on the day turned up on time and stayed late to get it done in 1 day rather than having to come back. There was a slight problem with the strength of WiFi sending the signal to export but the electritian came back to hard wire it in. Definately reccomend to others”

“I encountered TCL Solar based from a recommendation from a friend. First contact was a text message to Simon, who quickly arranged a call to discuss my needs. Then followed an in person visit and survey, nothing was being pushed down my throat, unlike other companies that didn't even bother to visit, yet provided quotations! Simon certainly did not put on the "hard sell"! Once Simon and I agreed on requirements, dates and price, David got in contact to arrange delivery and installation. He kept me informed about delivery dates and time windows all the way. Both Simon and David were both very helpful throughout, provided answers to any questions almost immediately, and come back to me with the answers for the more tricky questions or revised quotes. Including a couple of minor issues i've encountered since (nothing to do with their installation) The installation team worked tirelessly on the hottest day of the year (so far) to get the job done, and it's completed to an extremely high standard, everything is neat and routed properly, all packaging cleared away and all mess cleaned at the end of the day. I absolutely will (and already have) recommended TCL Solar to friends in the future!”
