“Helpful to the customer”

“I’ve bought chemicals from this company for over three years. My last order was over £200 and over years I must have spent thousands. They are not the cheapest but I didn’t mind as I valued being able to phone for advice. Not just on what to buy but general advice about my in ground pool So I was disappointed that having called four times one three days I still hadn't had a call back. I explained to the girl who answers the phones what I needed advice on and was told each time that someone would call me back 'that day'. Nobody did. In the end I sent an email expressing my disappointment and then got a call from the MD who proceeded to tell me off and for bothering them when they were so busy! (Really) He then moaned about how 'he had to drive the forklift truck' and went on ad nauseam about their problems. Well I can help with their problems by not buying anything from them again. I told him that had they said on even ONE occasion that they were busy I could have waited but that didn't register. There are literally thousands of companies selling chemicals and given the difficult times we are in you’d have thought that keeping customers would be important. Obviously not. I really don’t appreciate wasting my time and I appreciate even less being told off by them for just having a question. So they are busy because of coronavirus. Join the club. So after three years and a huge spend with Swimming Pool Chemicals, it looks like time go to elsewhere.”

“Problem with the chemical. The acid looked yellow / greener than normal white. The PH and Alkalinity didn't change at all. I phoned and was fobbed off about the color. I don't believe the product was correct as it should have been white. The last batch was white and worked.”

“I placed my order on 5th April, it is now the 15th and I have still not received the delivery, despite ringing the company last week to advise that I haven't received it - my review is 'very poor'”

“Not delivered as advised then again not delivered as advised Accepted DHL problem but DHL should have informed you. Suggest you investigate with DHL”

“e-mailed you twice, no response. Telephoned to be told product was in stock but not on web site. Handy. Placed order and made notes on order that were ignored. Great products, awful customer service, be aware.”

“I paid for next day delivery but the product was not delivered next day when I had arranged to be home to receive it.I did not get any response to my request by email to you for the refund of my delivery cost as you did not fulfill the order as requested. I still require a refund of the delivery cost. Thank you.”

“delivered to wrong address, was contacted by house owner and he dropped it off. Gte your drivers to deliver correctly otherwise its too risky to use you”
