“I bought on line few things. It arrived the next day. One item was missing so I contact the company and they promptly post me the item. So far so good, but then I noticed a problem with another item. The original order was for two deferent items and instead they sent me two of the same.”

Hi Mark Thanks for your review, we are still waiting on the multifunctional tablets to arrive in the warehouse, as there is currently a global shortage of chlorine, hence the delays. These should be arriving tomorrow, then orders will be dispatched straight away. We have sent emails out to keep our customers up to date regarding the tablets. Once again, apologies for the delays and inconvenience this has caused.

“Yes ok but disappointed I didn’t get free thermometer with order like I used to get offered. As a loyal customer thought that would have been offered. Delivery nice and quick. Less plastic packaging needed.”

Good Morning Steve, Sorry to hear you're disappointed that we no longer offer the free gift. We have now replaced this with our online loyalty points scheme, where customers can collect points on each order and then use their points to save money on their future orders. Hi, thanks for your review, we are sorry to hear you are unhappy with our delivery service. I've taken a look into this for you to see what went wrong here. Your last order with us on 24th June you placed at 18:46 so that would have been dispatched the next day on Friday 25th June and I can see from the tracking it was delivered on Monday 28th June so this was delivered on time. The order before that on 27th May was placed at 17:33 so also will have been dispatched on the Friday 28th May and normally will have been with you on the Monday but as it was a bank holiday it will have been delivered on Tuesday 1st June which the tracking shows it was. Please note our next working day delivery service is only on orders placed before 3pm as that is when the lorry arrives to collect all the orders that day. As you are ordering after our 3pm cut off time, the orders aren't being processed until the next day. Kind regards, Swimming Pool Chemicals

“i used to buy a chorine shock in big tub (20 kg.) but now it's just available in small tub which end up more expensive and I buying this product once a month or every 2 months. and the free gift is not very good as well.”

Hi, thanks for your review. We are sorry about this, unfortunately there are nationwide shortages of calcium hypochlorite at the moment due to difficulty with imports so we only have the smaller pack sizes available until we receive our stock order. This is hopefully going to be at the end of June all being well and we can start selling the bigger quantities then. Also the free gifts should have been updated now as we were waiting on the import of those as well which took much longer than usual due to all the problems. Kind regards, Swimming Pool Chemicals

“Chemicals itself always great quality, however the service of their 'next day delivery' is always shocking. Never had it delivered on time as of yet, and this order was 5 days late and for a canine hydrotherapy centre who relies on chemicals to maintain good quality water, this was not adequate.”

“I ordered the items on Friday for delivery Monday, I received a text from DHL on Monday at 8:46 am saying delivery between 12:00 to13:00. At approx 13:30 I contacted your customer line who said they would track it, and some wwoild call me back when they returned from lunch. Approx 2 hours later I still had not received a call back, so phoned again , told the person dealing with it was on the phone and would call back. I received a call back saying the driver was 2 houses away on my road, I asked what time he would deliver and was told not today as he could not find the house , I asked why he did not phone me as he has my mobile,was told he might have been busy. I then asked if I would therefore receive the delivery the next day ,as I had stayed in all Monday afternoon. I was then informed this was not possible as the package had been returned to sender (your office). I was then informed the package would be delivered Wednesday which it was What annoyed me was the casual attitude as if to say well it’s not us it’s DHL but surely you have a contract with them . There was no consideration to the time I has to take off, if next working day delivery is not guaranteed it should not be stipulated. I still don’t understand why the driver who I was told had my mobile did not phone.”

Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to hear of the poor delivery service you have received on this order. We always pride ourselves on our good customer service and unfortunately we were let down by our courier DHL in this instance. They for some reason scheduled a return to us on the Monday/Tuesday after not being able to locate your house, so we resent the order on Tuesday for delivery Wednesday which we are glad to hear you received. We can only apologise for the inconvenience for the delivery delay on this occasion.

“Quick despatch of initial parcel. Sadly testing strips were not included in shipment. Follow up call to nice person on phone but still no strips. Hoping this is be resolved soon.”

“Sorry but this time POOR. Normally very good but you really do need to have delivery on Saturday as a standard or at the very least if a Friday dleivery goes wrong, as tandard. You#re a pool company after all. My delivery was due to arrive Friday but didn't so I had to wait til the following Monday”
