“I really really really wanted this product to work. In fact, I purchased 10 boxes in various shades of blonde. I had many back and forths by email with a rep who was super nice, but nice doesn't make up for the fact that ultimately this product does not cover gray at all.”

Hi Nancy, We're really sorry to hear you haven't had a positive experience with our products, It can be difficult to cover greys with blonde shades and we would recommend N shades up to 8N as best for grey coverage. I understand you were using a mixture of 10N and 8C, if you are not getting the coverage you would like then we would recommend a mixture of 8N and 8C however this would be a darker shade than the 10N mix. “Hi I used 6N for the second time but when used the clarifying shampoo my hair is tangle where I have highlights and it’s like hair knots would you please give me an advise what to do I don’t want to get my hair cut short thank you”

“I have tried twice in the past week to colour my grey areas in my hair. It has not taken at all and am now left out of pocket because this product does not cover grey hair at all.”

“Well the great news is your permanent hair color is awesome and my stubborn white hair gets completely covered with your hair color. It covers wonderfully and my hair looks super shiny and looks great. Now the henna cream I was very disappointed in because it did not cover the white at all and it looked as if I did nothing to my hair. I did use light brown and my natural hair is medium brown because of the permanent color having a tendency to go darker, I was trying lighter and that might have been what caused it to not cover. So improvement on the henna cream to cover white/gray hair would be great. Overall I love your permanent color and would highly recommend it.”

“Tried this product as I am pregnant and didn't want to use other, more harsh, home kits. I absolutely love it- the result is amazing and I found the colour really accurate to that on the box. I loved the extra shampoo to removed old colour build up, there was no stinging on my scalp, I found there to be ample product for full coverage, when delvelped it hadn't gone too ginger or too dark like other dyes I've used before and it even came with a cap so I didn't need to dig out a plastic bag!! Definitely recommend- 10/10”

“Did henna on my hair two months ago and nice auburn color. unfortunately i have a lot of gray. i am on vacation so i decided to go to sprouts and try this one. While it left my hair shiny and soft(I did condition afterwards) it did very little for white roots.Left on one hour. Very disappointed with this product. I will need to redo hair. Used clarifying shampoo twice. Will use henna powder for better results.”

“Ordered from their website direct. Been four days and I have received no notification of anything regarding shipment or otherwise. Payment has been taken but other than that nothing to note transaction from my end. Unprofessional in this day and age.”

“This product did not cover my grays. I left it on for 1.5 hrs. AND Not enough dye. AND no conditioner. I’m extremely disappointed & upset. Will not buy this product ever again.”

“I love the product - color is wonderful, quality product but I wish the shampoo/conditioner was made to use on for curly hair. My hairdresser can't get through the curls -with curls we need some oils-maybe avocado??”

“I am a first time user,i used 5N,my hair turned black and my hair was like a straw and rough,I used my regular conditioner,my hair looks dull,no shine plus i am losing lots of hair.I do not know how to make my color light brown. I am very disappointed with the color. How can I lighten my hair,if I go to a hairdresser,it is going to cost me a lot of money.So help me,please!”

“Pros: I am thankful that your hair dye is more natural and safer for me!! It is the very reason I chose to try it. The color lasts so long, without fading and it does a great job of covering my resistant gray hairs. For these reasons, I will continue using it. Cons: There should be a caution on the package that warns the first time user that the final, resulting color will be much darker than the stated color on the package. It was a shock, to say the least. Once I discovered this, I alleviated this problem by buying a lighter shade. Second issue I'm having is with the included conditioner, applied at the end. My hair is very fine, and chin length but there is not enough conditioner provided. The conditioner left my hair straw-like so I've had to reach for extra conditioner that I have at home. I've used two previous hair color brands that included excellent conditioners, so if Tints of Nature can improve this situation, your product would be 5 star!”
