“I really like tints of nature hair dye. This order of three packages one had leaked a little bit out of the small bottle I don't know if it was not tightened down enough or changes in weather temps loosened it. It did not leak a lot. I wiped the bottle and other items in the box that were sticky.”

“was looking for a hair color that is more natural and will not ruin more my dry hair due to the chemicals that my hair lady is using, so tried this brand and was so impressed on the results, the grey hair on my roots was covered very well, better that my hair lady and my hair feels soft, smooth and healthy. The moment I found out that this product was great, I ended ordering more. I don’t have to spend more money to the salon coz I can do it on my own… so happy!”

“Tints of Nature permanent hair color has been an excellent product for me for over ten years. I have thick, mostly gray hair and it does cover it and make it look beautiful. I have just read some negative reviews and have realized that bad results may be occurring if those people purchase the product through some irreputable seller. Products might be doctored or diluted. Maybe that is why some people said their hair fell out or that their skin burned (even after performing the skin test, right?). It is not worth trying to save a few dollars. Order on the Tints of Nature website or if you must use Amazon, go to the Tints of Nature Store. For the reviewer Maggie C who has short hair, I suggest purchasing an empty hair color bottle with measurements on the side, from a supply store, and simply measuring out only half of the product in that. I even mix two colors. I wash out the bottle thoroughly after use and air dry. I have recapped unmixed bottles and had no problems with the next use. This company does care and their product has gotten even better over the ten years that I have been using it : )”

“I have always used your product for years now since my neighbour recommended it being so natural without awful chemical smells too. “It’s the first hair dye that hasn’t made my scalp feel irritated and uncomfortable. It’s smells nice. Grey coverage is amazing! The shine 2 weeks later is still making people comment. The colour is really vibrant and fresh. I was my hair a lot and it’s still really looking brand new. I really really impressed, thank you 🙌”

“I absolutely LOVE your product. I'm a natural red head. Over time of course I've gone slightly grey! I feel like I'm pouring golden silk on to my hair everytime I use your products. I mix 'red' with 'mahogany red'. THANK YOU. 🙏 I recommend your products to all my red-headed friends. People are always admiring my gorgeous red hair & how shiny & what good condition it's in.......and it's all thanks to your beautiful products. 💖”

Hi there! Thank you for reaching out to Tints of Nature. I can confirm that this is a reformulation from our previous Black shade, based on feedback that the previous Henna Cream Black gave more of a Dark Brown result. If you preferred the previous result, I would recommend the new brown boxes of Henna Cream Dark Brown for future use, as these boxes now contain the previous Henna Cream Black formulation, again based on the feedback we received that it yields more of a warm-toned very dark brown result. “The first time I decided to color my hair myself I discovered and purchased Tints of Nature. I was initially a little scared, but I did it, and it worked! I love it! I have sensitive skin and thick dry curly hair. Your product leaves my hair soft, and easy to style and does not hurt my skin. When my hair began turning gray, I didn’t want to pay for expensive salons. With your product I have been able to match my natural hair color and am confident in doing it myself. Aside from the fact that you don’t include enough conditioner, I am truly happy with your product!”

“This is my favorite natural color product!! Gentle and lovely on my baby fine hair!! I usually use the copper brown, but I think I'm going to try a henna in red!! Getting married soon and I want to try something new! I give this product 5 plus Stars!!”

“You definitely need to use the hydrating conditioner before using this hair colour. It makes all the difference. Without it, the colour didn't cover my grey hair very well but if you condition your scalp & roots first, the coverage is excellent. Absolutely love this colour. Finally something that is strong enough to cover my resistant grey hair but doesn't damage my fine hair or irritate my sensitive skin. I've even started experimenting by mixing some colours & I always get compliments on how natural the colour its. Keep up the great work Tints of Nature.”

For future reference, please just be aware that we recommend the Hydrate Treatment as opposed to the Hydrate Conditioner for use before colouring - Hydrate Treatment is designed to soften up grey hairs and make them more receptive to colour, whereas Hydrate Conditioner is designed to seal the cuticles of the hair back down which can actually make it more difficult for the colour to penetrate your hair. - Love, the Tints of Nature team
