“This was not introduced to us - we just received an email with no preparation or suggestions on procedures. I entered vacation time, it was accepted and then rescinded. If some beginning instructions or an introduction to this system was provided, it would have helped communicating the new process.”

Thanks Carl, I can see if you all worked in the same room and could look at the notice board then the advantages are slightly less. But I'd still argue that computerising the approval process (to get rid of the paper chase) and having always up to date calendars that are available to everyone no matter if they are in the office - or say, at home/ in a travel agent booking their annual holiday, renders the app pretty useful. But no matter, we accept it's not for everyone.

“Limited options in the browser, no new features since I started working wit it (over 1.5 years ago). And: I reached out a while ago, but I’ll do it again: what’s happening with the iOs app? 99% of the time I can’t see the week overview (just 1 day) and I can’t switch between teams, etc etc. Basically: it’s broken. I hope you guys are working on this?”

Hi Jenne, I'm not sure how you've missed this but we've had heaps of improvements and features over the last 1.5 years - just take a look at the changelog https://twitter.com/search?f=tweets&vertical=default&q=timetastic%20%23changelog&src=typd It sounds to me like you are running the old version of the iOS app - I'd suggest checking and installing the latest updates, or delete it and reinstall to get the latest version. Hi Michael, Thanks for the review and feedback. We don't claim to work well with Google apps other than to say you can feed your Timetastic calendar into Google calendar via the ical method. “You should be able to see all staff time booked off be for you apply for time off so bookings can be altered instead of decline application due to multiple bookings”

Hi Martin, thanks for the feedback. We have it on our to-do list to look at a rules system to restrict the number of people off at any one time. I agree with you that it'd make life a little but easier. Thanks Gary

Hi Stephen, Thanks for the review. I can see how not tracking flexitime causes issues but at present Timetastic has been focused on tracking time off rather than actual time worked. Maybe in time we'll cover both more comprehensively, we do need to increase the functionality to be more flexible to situations like you describe. Thanks again Gary

“I needed also the ability to enter leave dates for employees by myself. With that missing this software was not of use for me.”
