“The concept is good. The quality of the "influencers" is hit or miss. My biggest issue is there's no way to enforce compliance with deadlines. Influencers agree to create by a certain date, but that date comes and goes and we are stuck trying to get the influencers to do what they agreed to. It's giving "some are in it just for free products". Also, someone with 1 follower should NOT be an influencer. So, the platform's premise is spot on - just need to tighten up on the quality of the influencers and more accountability on the part of the influencers to deliver ON TIME. As small business owners we can't afford to be gifting with nothing in return.”

Hi Kinyatta, Thanks for the review & feedback; we appreciate it. Please see some of our thoughts below: We do have a manual process of approving the influencers on the platform, and the rules are pretty strict; however, we agree that not all of them are great quality, and different influencers are good for different goals: UGC, awareness, or sales. In this case, you can decline the collaborations with the ones you don't want to work with. Regarding deadlines, we advise brands to give creators up to 14 days since they receive the product to complete the collaboration. If this timeline is passed, you can report the creators using our reporting function; we can do the heavy lifting for you here. In the case of the influencer with one follower, I think that might be a mistake, and we need to investigate a bit more; we'll reach out to you via email right now to chat about the above and how we can provide a better experience. “Great app for influencers looking to review products from some new and exciting brands. Your first few collaborations are gifted until you have received five 5-star reviews then you can move to paid after that. Very quick response with any issues too which I love I would 100% recommend social cat to any influencer looking to review some exciting products”

“Some of the applications clearly have fake profiles, and I think one our of the 15 were our target demo. The 1 did make a great video though!”

“I think that influencers should be filtered a bit more to be categorized and be shown the "right fit" companies. I get many opportunities from children or teen girls that my product has nothing to do with. They however, count as an opportunity and this does not let my real influencer fits find me, since my opportunities are used up.”

Hi Cris, Thanks so much for sharing the feedback & the review. We agree there is more work to be done on the matchmaking algorithm as we get more and more brands and influencers on the platform. This is a tricky balance to make, especially because we're working with 1.000+ brands and 10.000+ creators. However, for 2023, our top priority is product building which means better matches and more influencers. Hi Brandi, Thanks for sharing this; I appreciate the review & honesty. It seems the problem is the fact content creators did not post what was agreed upon; I'm not sure if you got a chance to use our reporting system, which is designed especially for situations like this one. By reporting someone, our team takes control, pauses the influencer's account, and we help in getting the campaign live. A team member is reaching out right now to help and better understand what happened. Thanks again for the review, and we're working to improve our product.

“I LOVE Social Cat. There are honestly not enough words to describe how grateful I am to have stumbled across this platform. I work full time as a content creator, and Social Cat makes it SO easy to network with brands. Many of these brands I’ve been able to continue to do business with, long after submitting my original content. If I had the addresses for the creators of this platform, I’d send them all Christmas cards. But I guess a review will just have to do. “I have enjoyed using Social Cat to help source brand partnerships. However, there needs to be a better filtering system for partnerships that align with my niche. I create content for home decor and interior design. It is not relevant for me to partner with pet, beauty, fashion or health brands. However I receive 20 new brands to review daily from social cat - many of which are not relevant. It was taking too much time for me to review and decline all of these random brands until I eventually turned off the collaboration feature. A shame!”

“Just like my love of felines, this Kat did not disappoint!! In my short time with them already I have had SO many influencers reaching out and already getting amazing content. My company had such a hard time finding anyone who would do gift only content, but they have a litter for you!!”
