“Horrible experience. Lots of FAKE accounts on this platform. A bunch of content creators that just take the product and never make content. Smh. Social Cat doesn't help you, they don't refund you for the lost product plus shipping. It's a giant money grab. This is the review I'm going to start leaving every possible place I can. I’ve been using Social Cat for about a month and will be canceling before they try to take another $100. There’s no guarantee influencers will actually post your video — I sent free product, paid for shipping, and got nothing back. Now I’m seeing others leaving the same one-star reviews for the same “creator.” After researching, I found many of the matched influencers are inactive, fake, or total scams. The platform limits how many people you can contact, the “7-day free trial” is useless, and if you cancel before the next billing cycle, they block you from seeing your own content — even if you already paid. Between the fee, shipping, and product cost, I lost money for zero results. Save your time and money — you’re better off reaching out to influencers yourself on TikTok or Instagram. Social Cat is all hype and no delivery. They ask you how hard it was to get a refund?? Well they told me they were canceling my account and refunding me but instead they tried to deduct another 100 dollars from my bank account. My bank had to put a fraud alert on my account for suspicious activity which then froze my business debit card and I'm currently still waiting for a new debit card. 🥴🥴🥴 Such a hassle and inconvenience.”

We take reports of non-delivery seriously, and creators will be immediately banned once this is reported to us. Please email hello@thesocialcat.com with details so our team can review and assist directly. "The platform limits how many people you can contact, the “7-day free trial” is useless, and if you cancel before the next billing cycle, they block you from seeing your own content — even if you already paid. Between the fee, shipping, and product cost, I lost money for zero results." During the 7 day free trial you have access to 3 matches as communicated before joining. If you cancel during this trial, you will still have access to the platform indefinitely- we never- under any circumstances, revoke this access. If you log into your account now, you will find that you will absolutely still be able to access the inbox and communicate with all of these creators and download all content- even if you have never paid us. The content is yours. Just to further clarify, there was one billing attempt on your card at the end of the free trial (before you canceled) which was declined and when the second attempt was successful, you contacted us and we immediately refunded this payment. We will happily provide you with proof of this refund if you contact us directly as we can not attach that here. Kind regards, Team Social Cat

“So far, after two months, my experience is all over the map. Having contracted gifted collabs with seven influencers, three posted great content quickly while four have pretty much ghosted me after recieving our products. I plan to ride it out a few more weeks and then apply basic ROMI calculations for all seven to guage true results.”

“The idea is great. However, as a software engineer turned e-comm owner, this platform as a software lacks a lot of stuff and testing. I am not talking about features, but feels to me they didn't test from the perspective of a user. I click invite all, 150 results are shown, only 26 gets invited. Or whatever that may be. No letting the user know why rest didn't get invites. Writing a message and accidentally clicked Edit Templates? Now you whole message is gone without any warning. Even using templates, I wasn't aware the name I put into my templates were shown to the creators... So I gave a name that I'd remember not what they'd see. Notifications are lacking. I was made aware hours after someone applied. Someone messages me, the inbox doesn't update immediately. There is no seen marker or not. There is no hiding away archived campaigns. Also, archived chats must be moved away from the All tab or some other active must be default. It is just unnecessary clutter. I don't know the creator side of things but there should be deadline reminders to ensure timely delivery. Search function seems to be keyword + AI mix. Not sure. I write ski or snowboard, some random creators show up. Maybe they skiied once, who knows. Follower counts aren't up to date. Engagement rates seems arbitrary or not updated, but who know, we can't confirm. Selected filters should appear above to ensure we are checking what we need. So that we can cancel without million line scroll-downs. I kinda understand the 48 hours replacement period but some creators will never work (not just unresponsive, maybe they are looking for something else, or maybe we sent a bulk invite and they happen to accept etc. and turns out not compatible and more). It has to be reduced. Replacing doesn't necessarily mean the creator is bad per se. Waiting for 48 hours is a waste of time. Despite all this, I gave 4 stars because there is an effort to support small brands like us in a quasi-affordable SaaS model. But they HAVE TO take the user's (the brands and perhaps the creators) side and test the user experience. At least they are responsive if you have to contact them.”
