“Unfortunately in our case, most of them were low quality creators who just wanted free products where they just ghost you after getting a tracking info... I think we sent out 7~8 products (after signing their agreement) and only 1 of them properly fullfilled agreement...”

“I’ve been on Socialcat for a few years now, and I can honestly say it’s been a great platform for connecting influencers with real brands. I recently landed my first assignment through Socialcat, and it was definitely worth the wait! Through the platform, I was able to collaborate with a company called Saltwise, receive free products, and create authentic UGC content. What stood out to me the most is that this wasn’t just about free items—people actually purchased the product after seeing my content, which shows the quality of the brands Socialcat connects you with. Socialcat gives creators a real opportunity to build partnerships, gain experience, and grow in the influencer space. If you’re consistent and patient, opportunities will come. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me and looking forward to landing even more collaborations in the future. Definitely recommend for any influencer serious about working with brands and creating meaningful content!”

“I used Social Cat for about 3 months. The people I ultimately worked with were pretty good. I will say that Social Cat might want to clean house, as in have everyone listed check in every 3 months or so. There were a lot of people I looked at who were no longer posting. I like that they sort of lead you through the process. I also like that they are a neutral third party through which things go, so you are not trying to run down the person after you have sent the product or whatever.”

“I’ve had a mixed experience using Social Cat. On the positive side, the platform makes it easy to connect with brands and secure collaborations. The interface is straightforward, and there are real opportunities available. However, my recent experience highlighted a major gap in creator protection. I completed a paid collaboration in full accordance with the agreed terms and provided the brand with the live content. The brand then requested additional deliverables that were not part of the contract and withheld payment when those were not provided. I escalated the issue through Social Cat, and while they confirmed they contacted the brand, there was no enforcement mechanism to ensure payment or resolution. After the situation was addressed on the platform, the brand then left a retaliatory review, which I was informed could not be removed. I also requested escalation within Social Cat and was told there was no one further to speak with. This experience raised concerns for me about how disputes are handled and what protections exist for creators when a brand does not honor a contract. I would currently rate the platform 3.5/5 — useful for opportunities, but lacking meaningful enforcement or safeguards for creators in payment disputes. Creators should proceed with caution and ensure they are fully protected outside of the platform when entering agreements.”

“Multiple issues with this platform. 1. Influencers take way to long to answer, 24-48 hours is ok but weeks isn't. 2. Two of the four Influencers we sent product to never made a video and stopped responding to messages once the product samples had shipped. 3. Social cat support was non existent, they didn't answer our emails about Influencers not answering messages after getting our product samples.”
