“Love the ethos of these washing up sponges, they are quite thin and I find it difficult to clean in corners. You do need to scrub a bit harder on burnt on bits compared to the old supermarket sponges, however I’m pleased I bought them and will keep using them.”

“The scrubby pads are excellent - they are durable and have the flexibility of a soft pad side and an efficient scrub side. The small size gloves are quite large for small hands like mine, making them difficult to wear. A size in extra small would be good.”

“Love the idea of a plastic free washing up sponge and works well , but the sponge largely separated from the rough scourer part after 3 days so not sure how it’s going to last another 3.5 weeks”

“I have just received my third order of sponge scourers, not started to use it yet. I found the quality for my second box is not as good as the first box. The top layer of loofah was quicker to break or peel off. I hope this third box will not disappoint me, keep my fingers crossed. Regards Elsie”

“The sponge side is excellent but the loofah side is stiff and makes it rather difficult to get it in to the contours of a saucepan. A little softness of texture would help here.”

Thank you for taking the time to review us :-) The sponge scourers need to be dried out before they can be packaged and dispatched to customers. Rinse under water and give them a little massage before use to soften up. The sponges will become softer upon continued use with washing-up liquid. They will also soften up with usage, so the longer you use it, the softer and more malleable it gets. You can speed this up by popping it into the washing machine or dishwasher a few times.

“Only a few weeks in but impressed at the longevity of the sponge scourers that have been doing heavy duty work and not frayed or become stained at all. I also bought the rubber gloves they function really well, the only comment is that even though I bought the small they are still roomy. Other than that, satisfied with my purchases.”

“I bought the cloths, bin liners, copper scourer and spongeloofah scourers The cloths are great, the bin liners are a bit thin but I'm hoping strong enough not to tear and spill rubbish all over the place. The copper scourer is really good for use on the outside of pans and toughened glass but would not use on non-stick or cast iron items. The spongeloofah scourer is not flexible enough to clean in corners/edges of dishes. It's quite rigid and this is my only negative comment.”

“I ordered a box containing various cleaning items. The scourers were less abrasive than the ones I’d previously been using and the cloths were a bit smaller, but very pleased to be using products that are more environmentally friendly! I’ve yet to see how long the various items last, but have no regrets on spending a bit more, knowing they are much kinder to the environment. Well done Seep 😊”

Glad that you are loving them. They should become more flexible the more you use them, but to speed this up, just pop them in the washing machine once or twice.

“I bought the sponge scourers. There are very good, initially I thought they were rather hard and inflexible. It is a matter of getting used to. I have used them for a while and one sponge can last for ages. I will continue to buy them in the future.”
