“I have just completed the TEFL 120 hour course with a score of 90% Distinction. I was so delighted as I have not studied since my school days. This was a great achievement for me. The two day Class, in Belfast, was great and the follow up 100 hours by Internet completed the course. My tutor was a great help and gave great constructive feedback. Each Module was clearly explained and help was available if I needed it. I would recommend this course and I hope to do another.”

“I was extremely impressed with the course on all levels: breadth, depth, variety of activities, support, challenge, pitch, final assignments and in-depth assessment comments. I enjoyed the interaction as well and the links to further reading in all modules and found it a very rewarding experience indeed. I am now certainly hugely motivated to start teaching English abroad. Many thanks!”

“I really enjoyed studying with The TEFL Academy. I found the modules to be well balanced and profusion of access to sites made my daily study easy. I felt surrended by informations easily accessed. The site is simple and well organised therefore there is no complications in using it. Everything works smoothly with no stress. “I actually enjoyed doing my TEFL with these guys, I thought it would have been a pain regardless of who I went with. Anyway I got my certificate (with a merit) it wasn't easy but there was great support from the TEFL Academy about my submissions and they always pointed me in the right direction. Good price too!”

“TEFL has been amazing! I have learned a great deal of teaching skills and I have been able to learn things that I would not have otherwise learned without the course. “I felt supported and excited by all the modules I completed, I am from a teaching background and feel this helped me a lot with completing the tasks. I do think if I had never taught some may have been more challenging. I asked for a succsess/marking criteria for one of the essays just to help guide me a little,maybe this would be useful for non teachers too to help structure essays Overall I really appriciated the time the tutors gave me and individualised comments were really relevent and helpful.”

“The whole course from start to finish was engaging, informative and well constructed. The in class element was a great deal of fun, and any fears I had about standing up in front of people and teaching melted away as the day progressed. The instructor Liz, really knew what she was talking about and was able to answer every single question we asked - and honestly. She gave us the pros and cons as we asked for, to fully prepare us mentally for what we might encounter on our journeys into teaching abroad. The online element was great and well organised. I was able to complete this alongside my full time work without feeling overwhelmed, covering everything possible from classroom management to lesson planning. I initially felt quite nervous about the prospect of teaching abroad, but after completing this course - I feel fully prepared and ready to go. Thanks Tefl Academy!”

“I would highly recommend to anyone this course. It was top quality for me. The classroom experience gave a lot of confidence along with the online course which was very extensive but absolutely complete. “In third world here I live we are not used to study online. Tefl Academy is the witness of this type of studies. the services are given on time and the content is relevant. THE HARD COPY OF CERTIFICATE YOU SENT IS ANOTHER WITNESS OF YOUR INTEGRITY. Keep on stay in touch with the ex students and reinforce their cooperation and think about of some of them who can face the problems of transport to go where they can work. This will motivate again the teachers in third world. Increase the power of making known this opportunity. come in Africa.”

“This course was really comprehensive and helpful, right from the start. The 20hr weekend course was made very interactive and fun by the instructor, eliminating the need to feel intimidated by the presentation aspect or by going on to the online course. The online course had helpful material, and the assignment briefs were easy to follow. The turnaround for results on each assignment was a maximum of 48hrs for all of my submissions, and the feedback was comprehensive. At the end of the course, I find myself looking forward to using the skills I've used and realising my hopes of continuing on to teach English overseas.”

“I really enjoyed the 120 hours TEFL Course. Every module has a clear focus and to-the-point explanations and good examples. If you prepare well for the tests with the material given and some practice, you will definitely pass and pass within the time limit. I really enjoyed the additional videos and articles given at the end of each module because it provided the scientific backbone to the way TEFL is set-up. The 20 hours in class were a vital part of the course for me. It gave me extra confidence and really helped to bring the online modules into a realistic classroom setting/ situation.”

“I really enjoyed the course. It was educational, fun and vibrant. It was nothing I had expected. I thought it would be all theoretical but It was mostly practical and engaging. I'd definitely recommend this as I've already recommended it to family and friends. Now that I've completed the whole assignments, I'm looking forward to gaining experience in the UK for a few months to a year before travelling the world.”

“I wanted to be able to approach teaching English as a foreign language in an effective, fun and professional way and this course enabled me to do this. “When I first signed up to the course I wasn't sure what to expect. I went to the classroom based part of the course and found that I learned a lot more than I would have imagined. The tutor was knowledgeable and you get to put what you have learned into practice over the 2 days. The online part was made up of modules that are all very informative but not overwhelming. On the whole I would highly recommend the TEFL Academy”
