“In third world here I live we are not used to study online. Tefl Academy is the witness of this type of studies. the services are given on time and the content is relevant. THE HARD COPY OF CERTIFICATE YOU SENT IS ANOTHER WITNESS OF YOUR INTEGRITY. Keep on stay in touch with the ex students and reinforce their cooperation and think about of some of them who can face the problems of transport to go where they can work. This will motivate again the teachers in third world. Increase the power of making known this opportunity. come in Africa.”

“This course was really comprehensive and helpful, right from the start. The 20hr weekend course was made very interactive and fun by the instructor, eliminating the need to feel intimidated by the presentation aspect or by going on to the online course. The online course had helpful material, and the assignment briefs were easy to follow. The turnaround for results on each assignment was a maximum of 48hrs for all of my submissions, and the feedback was comprehensive. At the end of the course, I find myself looking forward to using the skills I've used and realising my hopes of continuing on to teach English overseas.”

“I really enjoyed the 120 hours TEFL Course. Every module has a clear focus and to-the-point explanations and good examples. If you prepare well for the tests with the material given and some practice, you will definitely pass and pass within the time limit. I really enjoyed the additional videos and articles given at the end of each module because it provided the scientific backbone to the way TEFL is set-up. The 20 hours in class were a vital part of the course for me. It gave me extra confidence and really helped to bring the online modules into a realistic classroom setting/ situation.”

“I really enjoyed the course. It was educational, fun and vibrant. It was nothing I had expected. I thought it would be all theoretical but It was mostly practical and engaging. I'd definitely recommend this as I've already recommended it to family and friends. Now that I've completed the whole assignments, I'm looking forward to gaining experience in the UK for a few months to a year before travelling the world.”

“I wanted to be able to approach teaching English as a foreign language in an effective, fun and professional way and this course enabled me to do this. “When I first signed up to the course I wasn't sure what to expect. I went to the classroom based part of the course and found that I learned a lot more than I would have imagined. The tutor was knowledgeable and you get to put what you have learned into practice over the 2 days. The online part was made up of modules that are all very informative but not overwhelming. On the whole I would highly recommend the TEFL Academy”

“This course is fantastic for anyone wanting to teach English abroad. Not only does the course give a fantastic outlook of what life is like as an English teacher abroad over an intensive weekend course. It also gives the student access to the skills needed through exercises such as lesson plans and scheme of work, both important in the classroom environment of EFL learning. I fully enjoyed both the weekend course and the course modules and now look forward to using the new qualification in Vietnam in April 2016”

“The Tefl Academy have provided me with enough knowledge, a wealth of resources and the confidence to teach English as a foreign language. I have throughly enjoyed studying with the Tefl Academy. I was given effective and helpful feedback. The 20 hour contact was the best way to start the course. It was very convenient as I live in Plymouth. Others had to travel from afar. Iona was brilliant. She was very knowledgable and made it very interesting. We had the chance to get up and practise teaching ourselves and discussed many teaching approaches. My certificate came through very quickly. I would recommend this course strongly.”

“I really enjoyed the course. The two day part within the classroom was very good. The teacher,Liz, was extremely knowledgeable and made the class fun. I met some lovely people on the course. Knowing I had 6 months to complete the course enabled me to fit the coursework in between working full time. The modules themselves were self explanitory and i learned a lot. Much of the work was done by researching the internet for ideas. The online grammar test was the daunting part of the course but it wasn't as bad as I thought. The modules were marked within the 72 hour period, in fact some were marked within hours. I passed the course with a distinction, got my certificate within a couple of days and am now enrolling on the CELTA course so that I am fully armed with all the qualifications needed to change my career. The course has made me more determined to get into teaching and I can't wait. I would definitely recommend The TEFL Academy to others wishing to do the 120 hour course”

“The 20 classroom hours were intense but enjoyable. Our teacher demonstrated by example as how to be a great teacher and provide great lesson. The online materials covered the core principles but you are encouraged to research further, and I would highly recommend doing so. The grammar module ( module 7) held a lot of information so I studied the grammar while working on the coursework for modules 8 and 9. This way I wasn't waiting too long to submit the course work as you can only submit coursework sequentially. Feedback on the coursework was always received in 3 days, sometimes as soon as 1 day. I also found the customer service to be extremely efficient, providing answers any non-academic queries .”

“I have enjoyed my on line training as well as the two day's workshop and the comments I had with my tutor for the last two assignments. I believe that on line training on its own is not great and it is important to keep the one to one personal support. I would have also welcomed more of this personal support... Perhaps something after finishing the course on how someone can be helped to find a job... Perhaps also a better understanding on what the on line training is expecting from you. Meaning, I thought that all that I had to finish was the 10 modules and was surprised at the end to find out that there were 3 more assignments to do. Apart from these two suggestions, I believe that all instructions are easy to follow and the modules are comprehensive, clear and to the point.”
