“Great course, that met all requirements and more. In class training was well organised and the instructor did a fantastic job. The online section was full of information and the structure was easy to follow. Also provides help with the job seeking process, which is very beneficial.”

“I liked this course because I was able to get the certificate I needed for a job very quickly and cheaply rather than spend a month and a lot of money doing a celta. It's as quick or as thorough as you need it to be.”

“I think the website was really helpful when completing the course. At times there could have been a little more detail as to what was wanted in the actual assignment but the document that held all the information was very useful. The site was easy to navigate and had everything I needed (bar of course secondary resources) to be able to complete the course.”

“The course was structured very well online and I liked how you couldn't progress to the next module until you had passed the previous one - it therefore wasn't too overwhelming! The response to queries was fast and my tutor marked my assignments in 2-3 days which I thought was very fast! Couldn't really suggest any changes to the programme-enjoyed it.”

“I was really impressed with the TEFL 120 hour course. For the 20 hour classroom aspect, our tutor Joe was a very experienced teacher who has taught all over the world. This meant that he was able to use his experience to make the lessons both interesting and informative. I felt I learnt a great deal in the two days and it also acted as an excellent precursor for the 100 online course. The only negative aspect was that, unfortunately, Joe was ill on the 2nd day and this entailed that we were unable to have a full day. That said, we had got through all the teaching part of the course and illness cannot be helped. In relation to the 100 hour online aspect, I felt it was very engaging and useful. Although there were parts of the grammar sections that I didn't enjoy so much, I knew how important it was and this propelled me through. The structure of the course was excellent and I felt that the test questions were all relevant and not too hard or easy. The assignments were also useful as it actually got me thinking as a teacher and how I would plan lessons. This was invaluable and I really felt that the course was so beneficial to me as I have limited English Language or Foreign Language experience and I really felt that this taught me things that will help with for the rest of my life. Moreover, it has also given great assistance in finding resources and help with my search for a job in the field. The only slight negative I would add was the time lag between me finishing my first assignment and receiving the feedback a week later. However, this was at the period between Christmas and New Year and therefore can be excused. Ultimately, I would recommend this course to someone who isn't sure that they are going to teach abroad as I feel that it equips with language tools and skills that are very useful wherever you are.”

“I am very satisfied and happy of what I accomplished from the Academy. I've learned a lot from my intsructor, she is very good and talented. She encouraged me to make my lessons be more creative and satisfying for my students. The online class was not that easy for me but, it really helps me to let out my juices which I haven't expect from my self. I've done great lesson plans and it enhance my confidence more to make a creative lessons for my future students.”

“I really enjoyed the course learnt a lot and the course materials where great and very helpful. The two day classroom was really fun and it was a great way to meet others and get a full understanding of the course and helped with any questions you had. Overall great experience couldn't fault it!”

“I really enjoyed doing TEFL overall. It's exciting to know where this course can take you, and what you can learn! It's both challenging and rewarding. After you finish each module you get your grade back very quickly, which is also brilliant! However, when you get your grade you feel a sense of achievement, which then prepares you for the next module. The help and support that you receive has a quick response and is very useful. TEFL online course is a fantastic course to experience and have, I defiantly recommend it!”

“I had a wonderful experience with the TEFL academy. My 20 hour practical course in Brighton was brilliant, providing me with all the information I needed to begin my independent learning on the 100 hour course. Each module was incredibly well explained, and the course materials were detailed and in depth. Once I had submitted each piece of work, it was marked within a few days and the feedback was always incredibly useful. This course has provided me with the opportunity to live out my dream and move to Mallorca and teach!”

“I found the course to be very comprehensive as well as practical. The final two assignments really allowed me to use the information I had learned in the modules. I was under pressure for my second assignment to be graded as I have limited time to receive the certificate so I lodged a ticket. I received my grade the next morning with feedback. I was very satisfied that my request was taken seriously. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants to teach abroad.”

“This course was quick snd easy to find and book onto. I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 days in the classroom learning about effective ways of teaching beginners, a variety of teaching techniques and styles and what will be expected of me when qualified. The 100 hours on the website were also easy to access and understand for anyone not used to working with computers. Each module taught me something usual and interesting and I enjoyed each of them. The assignments were clearly explained and relevant to what we had been learning in the previous modules. I found it very informative when learning about lesson planning and having to plan my own lesson which allowed me to put what i had learnt into practise as well as having a deeper understanding of what would be expected of me once the course was completed. The online grammar test resources we extremely useful to revise and learn from the only thing which would have been more beneficial was some practise tests or question so i could have known what was expected in the test. Overall an extremely quick, easy and effect course.”

“The Tefl Academy were extremely supportive with my needs and gave good and helpful feedback on my work throughout the course. A positive 'can do' approach pervaded my experience from the classroom sessions to the finish of my online studies. The learning was useful and relevant, and included contextual information of which I was unaware and happy to learn. “I chose to do my TEFL course with the TEFL Academy as I liked the idea of working from home as well as the 20 hour face to face element. The support throughout my studies was amazing, weather its was face to face, online technical support, module feedback or general queries. I enjoyed being able to take my time with each module as I was working full time and had other commitments. Now I have qualified I am utilising their jobs board to look for work and have no doubt I will be working in South East Asia very soon. I highly recommend the TEFL Academy! “Doing my TEFL course through the TEFL Academy was one of the best things I could have done. The teaching is thorough, supportive and a lot of fun too. The price of course is excellent too - it's great value considering the depth of the coursework. Plus they are very patient with you. At the time of the weekend course I'd literally just suffered a family bereavement and wasn't at all in the right frame of mind to do the weekend course. I did, however, go ahead with it and completed the modules at a later date. Because you're given a year to complete the modules it does take the pressure off a bit if your circumstances are not conducive to studying at the time. I'd thoroughly recommend the Tefl Academy course. Kind regards Liz Revell”
