“Level 5 Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language - Highly recommended. I really enjoyed the lesson contents and the assignments. “If you have never learned English teaching methods before, this is the place to go! With well-organized course structure, I was guided every step of the way and detailed feedback on each of my assignments helped me understand how to improve my lesson plan. I'm very confident that I will be able to give my future students well-planned, effective lessons. Highly recommended. About two weeks after the completion of the course, I recieved the certifican by mail. I really appreciate their prompt response too.”

“I recently completed my combined level 5 TEFL course. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone wanting to start a career in education or anyone with a passion for teaching. The TEFL team is a geeat help and are always on standby to give assistance. The course material is really helpful and prepares you for your upcoming career as an EFL teacher. I am ready to travel the world while doing what I love and that is teaching.”

“I recently completed the Level 5 TEFL course and I was quite happy with the course overall. I think the course was very thorough, but also managed to cover a wide range of topics. I do wish they reviewed grammar a bit more since I was not taught grammar well enough in school, and I also wish they shared the correct answers for the quizzes so I could more easily learn from my mistakes. But honestly, I am a college graduate and I found the course harder than expected (in a good way!). The reading and unit tests are not that difficult, but the assignments do require quite a bit of work. However, I did pass all my assignments on the first try and received very prompt responses from tutors and admin whenever I reached out (within a couple days). The tutors were very patient with my questions and thorough in their replies, which I really appreciated. Overall, I think this is a really good course and while you will definitely have to do some outside work/studies if you want to become an expert in any of the subjects (such as grammar), I think this is a great place to start your career as an English teacher. Whether you end up using your certification or not, it's a great and rather affordable way to get a taste of what teaching English entails. Thank you!”

“When I decided to take a level 5 English course, I had several pages to choose from. After researching and reflecting, I decided to choose TEFL Academy, as it had excellent references and offered the same benefits but at a better price. I'm so glad I chose them! The course is structured in a way that flows effortlessly, and all the possible problems one may encounter, both with the material and the technology, have been predicted and explained in the first units, as well as in the introductory PDFs. I had no need to contact the tutors for any reason throughout the course. I felt very comfortable studying online and all my doubts were resolved within the course material itself. I would definitely choose them again!”

“I'm so happy I chose to do my TEFL qualification with The TEFL Academy. Not only is it Qualifi and Ofqual regulated, a requirement for most international jobs, but in 6 months I managed to achieve a level 5 diploma. The online nature of the course allowed me to study from anywhere in the world, so I was able to complete it around my current work. The communication was also great, with staff answering any questions I had via email promptly. This encouraged me to sign up for the course and I was suitably impressed with the content and style of teaching. I particularly enjoyed the in-person class I did in Edinburgh, where I got to meet others on the course and had a practical learning day where I utilised the theory from the course. The confidence I gained from the course enabled me to apply for my dream job; teaching English in South Korea. I'm pleased to report I have been offered a job! I couldn't have done it without The TEFL Academy. Thank you so much!”

“I read that the course usually takes 4 to 6 months to complete, but I made it a priority and worked on it full-time, finishing the entire program in just four weeks. I received a job offer immediately afterward. While searching for jobs, I was able to understand all the industry lingo, strategies, and more in the job descriptions, thanks to the comprehensive training provided by Level 5. I was so impressed with the course that I referred my daughter, and she has just started it! I'm hoping that she will experience travel and teaching.”

“This course was definitely worth the money. It's very thorough on its own, includes an abundance of materials for further research or class resources as well as provides hands on practice (assignments) for your future teaching. I love that I can go at my own pace and also get quick answers from support as well as useful and timely feedback on the assignments. I did the TEFL Level 5 course and was afterwards provided with a lot of resources for finding jobs, writing a CV and cover letter and conducting lessons.”

“The course was very informative and beneficial I really loved completing the assignments it brought out a side I didn't know exists in me, I loved doing the research. The webinars where a 5 out of 5 experience, loved it !!! Although there is room for improvement in the interactions end I suggest having a tefl academy learners community for interactions purposes”

“Taking The TEFL Academy's Level 5 online course was a game-changer for me. Even though I'm new to teaching English, this course made everything easy to understand. It covers a lot, but it's taught in a really clear way. What's great is they don't just teach you theory; they show you how to use it in real teaching situations. The online platform is super easy to use, and I could study whenever I had time. Plus, if I ever had questions, the support team was quick to help. Overall, if you want to become a great English teacher, this course is a must-do.”

“The Level 5 TEFL English Teacher Course is a comprehensive program designed to equip aspiring educators with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the field of English language teaching. My experience with this course was both challenging and rewarding, ultimately culminating in a newfound confidence in my ability to teach English effectively. Admittedly, I encountered some initial difficulties grasping the course material. However, once I immersed myself in the content, I found that the materials were well-structured and presented in a logical progression. Each unit built upon the previous one, providing a solid foundation for understanding the principles of English language teaching. One aspect of the course that I particularly appreciated was the inclusion of mini-assessments at the end of each unit. These assessments served as valuable checkpoints, allowing me to gauge my understanding of the material and identify areas for improvement. They were instrumental in refining my comprehension and ensuring that I was on the right track throughout the course. Despite the challenges posed by the main assessments (A, B, and C), I found them to be incredibly enriching experiences. While they required a significant investment of time and effort to complete comprehensively, they provided an opportunity for me to demonstrate my understanding and application of the concepts covered in the course.
