“The content was well thought out, and provided a sufficient amount of information to feel confident to teach English as a foreign language. A myraid of extra information is provided as well. The assignments helped with my conceptualization on what a "real" class environment would look like, and feedback was sufficient, although a more in depth analysis/commentary would be beneficial. Otherwise, it is an excellent course.”

“The TEFL Academy provides great content for learning how to teach English! The courses are designed so you can go at your own pace and the assignments are reviewed quickly! I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a TEFL certificate. It was also a great value - the cost for what you get is awesome. One aspect to consider is that the course is a lot of reading so if you are someone who would prefer video/lecture, it might be a bit more challenging.”

“The course was very easy to follow and laid out. It used a variety of media, including writing, articles, videos and interactive activities, and lots of quizzes. I would have liked the course to have helped me more in thinking about how to teach the grammar of my own language.”

“I found the TEFL course interactive, with plenty of activities to revise what I have learnt per unit. I think this is really important as this keeps it more entertaining as you do the online course. I had really underestimated the assignments, they were tough. But i do really feel that i am able to prepare an entire lesson now for students, which makes me feel confident and good about the future.”

“I found the TEFL course to be very useful for anyone interested in learning the techniques of teaching English as a foreign language. The material used has a lot of content that is imperative in equipping the potential teachers of the language. However, the course content is a lot, I wish it can be reduced so that it can be easy to go through everything within the set time.”

“I studied a level 5 tefl course. It was a great online experience with materials presented in a very consumable and enjoyable way, with extra information when required. The support was very fast and helpful. I really enjoyed. I would give 4.8 out of 5 because there are a couple of areas of improvement but was an excellent experience. This is why it’s not 5 stars, because I didn’t round up.”

“I found the TEFL Level 5 course an excellent course to prepare me for teaching ESL. It was very well planned and covered a broad range of topics and ample testing opportunities. The company's shortcomings were long response times and closing access to the course information after completion, meaning access to job assistance and content was cut off.”

“I completed the 168 hours combined TEFL course in May 2022 and found that the course materials are sufficient for preparing you as a new ESL teacher. There are lots of course materials to sip through and course materials are relevant to the course aim. The course materials cover most ESL language teaching areas - Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening. End-of-Unit tests are relevant to the Unit contents and achieve their aims for new students, regardless of their English level. The assignments are quite long but very helpful to prepare you as a new ESL teacher. However, if you follow the given instructions in the assignments, you will be fine. The difficulty level of the 3-assignments is of course below the University level. So, if you are a University grad, you are good to go. I feel more confident being a new ESL teacher after completing this course. The 20-hour in-class teaching practice portion of this course will even boost your confidence as a new ESL teacher. In a nutshell, I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to be an ESL teacher.”
