“Great course, very informative and the structure followed a very logical route. The 20 hour classroom aspect is fantastic as it gives you a hands experience of what a career in tefl would be. The online aspect of the course features many links to external resources as well as cv and job help in order to secure you a position when you finish. The final assignments were quickly marked and gave great constructive feedback. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of going into tefl or even just as an experience on its own!”

“I recently completed the 120 hour TEFL course and was very happy with it. Before beginning the course I thought that teaching English would be very easy as I am an English speaker but soon after starting the course I realised that there was a little more to it than expected. However, the course completely prepares you for it. Each aspect of teaching the language was broken down into easy-to-follow lessons with detailed instructions and guidance on how to effectively teach topics. Assessment consisted of quick tests at the end of each topic and 2 assignments at the end. I found the assignments to be beneficial as they give you the experience of planning lessons in detail. Very detailed feedback was provided upon submission of the assignments which I also found to be very helpful for development as it identifies which areas you need to improve upon and how to address these areas. I now feel very confident in my ability to teach English and cant wait to put it to the test.”

“The TEFL Academy are great. The course contact and structure is easy to follow and complete the modules. The class room section of the course is a perfect way to either introduce you to the online content or help to tie everything together and is very useful having some practical experience. The assignment while challenging are fun and marked with three days or less. The course overall is straight forward, informative and really helps to make sense of ESL and teaching methods.”

“The course is designed perfectly for someone who is working full-time or planning to travel. I made the decision to obtain the 20-hour in class practicum certificate and then immediately fly off to another country to begin my EFL teaching. The way the course is designed helped me follow my plan as I could study whilst travelling. I could hand in the modules any time I wished over the course of the year, which is plenty of time. I would highly recommend getting your TEFL certificate with The TEFL Academy. The teachers are completely friendly and respond to your queries within a day. I had a lot of support via email when I wanted to ensure I understood the requirements of an assignment. The company are very clear, helpful and made getting my certificate easy and fun!”

“I’m a holder of Bsc degree in history of English literature and education from a third country, where all stress falls on teaching using traditional method. With the TEFL Academy I have added more knowledge than I studied before. Not only an Ofqual-approved awarding organisation TQUK, but also approved by WTEFLAC, The TEFL Academy. All those who hold a certificate issued by the TEFL Academy can teach English as a foreign language at any country all over the world, unlike the other courses which are recognized by some countries and not recognized by the rest. courses’ modules are designed to measure student’s skills, starting from lesson planning (speaking, listening, writing and reading) moving to methodologies, class management, syllabus design, grammar awareness and essay writing. The course covers everything needed for a learner to start their career as a teacher. In class instructors are very professionals. Online campus is great, they respond to their leaner’s esquires in a blink of an eye. The course may be tough for some learners, but the outcome is just perfect, I would say. I personally would like to thank all The TEFL Academy stuff for all their help and support and more over for the planned course that enabled me to know new advanced methodologies that I’m now very confident to utilize in classes through my future career as a teacher. “For someone who never taught before or even considered it until maybe two or three months ago, I decided "what the hell"? and signed up for The TEFL Academy 120 hour online course. Not knowing what to really expect and being a total beginner when it comes to teaching, the modules are easily explained and clear to follow along with. The interactive workbooks available to download are a handy resource to use as you work your way through each module and when it comes to the end of module tests, you'll feel confident enough to get through them all. The end of course assignments are well structured too, and if (as I did) you make mistakes in your assignments, the teacher marking it clear how, where, and why you went wrong, making revised assignments easily enough to complete and pass. I just finished on Saturday and had my certificate mailed five days later and now here I am writing a review of the course. My advice, anyone thinking of taking an EFL course online, but not sure whether or not to do it, just go for it. The TEFL Academy make it so straightforward, it's worthwhile and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.”

“I have just completed the 20 hours classroom phase and left feeling very satisfied indeed. The quality of teaching and supporting materials were of the highest level. That combined with a tutor who was able to spend time and a lot of effort making delivery simple. The course delivered a fine mix of lesson plan combined with a good level of grammar and style. The tutor provided a wealth of advice and information to assist us in lesson preparation and content delivery. I would strongly recommend this TEFL course to anyone interested in high quality teaching and most of all potential job opportunity.”

“I started my 120 hour TEFL course with TEFL Academy on 1 March a day after I finished a 30 year career in Banking. Returning to studying could have been a daunting experience but I found the course very easy to follow and comprehensive. I particularly liked the interactive workbook and the links to additional resources. I had to refer to the the online help on only one occasion and my issue was resolved immediately. Feedback on my assignments was very constructive and I was given more advice and resources to use. The feedback was also very encouraging and gave me motivation to apply for jobs. The 20 hour classroom course was both fun and informative. It was great to have the opportunity to practise teaching and to interact with fellow students and an opportunity to ask the tutor questions face to face. The entire course took me 7 weeks to complete and I achieved a distinction. I am really proud of my achievements and thank TEFL Academy for making this possible. My next challenge of course is to find a job using my qualification and again TEFL Academy has the resources in place to help me do this. I would highly recommend TEFL Academy”

“I enjoyed my tefl course. It was recommended to me by a friend who is currently teaching in Dubai. The course was quite easy and fast to work through. The assessment could be made harder, and shorter as theres is a slight bit of repetition. The feedback from the assignments was great! Very fast and friendly. Gave me the information I required. Havent looked into any of the Jobs yet, but there is a lot of resources for when you complete your course. I enjoyed it mainly because I could access it in my free time and was not required to attend a classroom.”

“I found this course to be everything I was looking for. For me, the 20 hour weekend course was the most useful in terms of being able to put everything into practice. Judy , my teacher, was brilliant! She gave us some excellent tips to use in the classroom, based on her personal experience. The online course was full of information, covering a range of different important topics from planning to classroom management. After a lot of work, I graduated with a distinction qualification. I would recommend this course to anybody.”

“I was a bit nervous when beginning the course, but the very first hours of training we received convinced me that I made a good choice. The instructor was well experienced and offered great advice! The online part of the course is well structured and teaches you all that's absolutely necessary to know before you start teaching. It also gives you an idea of what you still need to learn if you want to improve. What I really liked about all of the assignments is that they were not very easy, which would make the course just boring and probably pointless, yet I always knew what was I supposed to do to complete each task. I would definitely recommend this course!”
